Everything your have read in the other reviews is an understatement! The location, the beautiful home and of course the lovely hostess and owner, Patrizia are wonderful. My wife and I were on a 10 day tour of Italy at the end of May and Parma was the two days in the middle of the trip, which also included our... More

A warm and beautiful hostess, a classy and comfortable setting, local insights, any need fulfilled, delicious breakfast, central location near the Duomo but peaceful. This is the place to stay in Parma!

Patrizia has opened up her historic home, very near to the cathedral, with two sets of rooms and a separate tourist apartment. While the rooms are lovely, and the location is splendid, what really makes this a special experience is Patrizia herself. One is made to feel like an honoured guest of the family, yet there is also high respect... More

We stayed with Patrizia for two nights. We often stay in b&b's while visiting Europe, and I must say this is one of the best. I am often hesitant about b&b's whose reputation rides on personalities of their owners, but Patrizia truly deserved the rave reviews. In one word: she was sincere. I felt she really treated us as personal... More

I had "retired" from writing reviews, but am making an exception for Patrizia's property. Her well located tastefully decorated home, the pride she takes in it, and her concern for its guests made a stay here an exceptional experience. My husband, Florentine cousin and I spent one rainy day in Parma. Thanks to Patrizia we were able to make the... More

We stayed in the smart and comfortable courtyard suite at the Al Battistero d'Oro for 3 nights this February. It is a top ranking B&B in all respects but made exceptional by the warmth and welcome by Patrizia a wonderful host who made our stay memorable. A lot has been said of this B&B in other entries and we can... More

Only able to stay one night, but it was like being overnight at a friend’s house. Patrizia is friendly, helpful, and very hospitable. My room was clean and comfortable, with the bathroom down the hall, like in a normal home. The only other guestroom was downstairs, but they had a separate entrance, and their door to my part of the... More

I highly recommend staying at this B&B while in Parma. It is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the culture and sights of Parma with a delightful hostess who envelops you with Italian warmth. I stayed in the Duchessa, which is a quiet suite off the courtyard with a private entrance. The room was well appointed and the bed... More

I had the pleasure of staying at Al Battistero d'Oro for about a week this fall. Patrizia was the best hostess you could ask for. She truly made me feel at home. Breakfast was always a delight and delicious. I stayed Reina room which had it's own small wing in the house. The location is fabulous and was maybe a... More

We stayed in the apartment for 2 night and really loved it. It had a full kitchen and was very spacious. The location was excellent and only a 5 minute walk to the Duomo. Patrizia was my favorite hostess. I would recommend this B&B.
