This place is brilliant. It's modern, welcoming and a place that my fiancè and I really enjoyed. It's family run and there is a real homely sense here. Elena was brilliant - especially in the cooking class - and we got exactly what we wanted: a relaxing environment with top quality service. We only stayed one night so took advantage... More

We spent two wonderful days at Villino di Porporano during our 3 week visit to Italy. I had booked the stay based on the unanimous accolades for Elena's place on Trip Advisor. It is the prettiest and most elegant B&B I we have ever stayed in. An old farm building next to Elena's home had been totally rebuilt with an... More

Set in a residential neighborhood about 10 minutes from Parma, this delightful B&B was everything a traveler could ask for. We stayed for a day on our way from Montespertoli to Milan. We opted not to stay in the city of Parma to avoid worrying about the non-resident auto restricted areas and because we needed to leave early in the... More

We loved our stay at this authentically charming villa just outside Parma. An ideal base for visiting the lovely towns of Parma and Modena. Elena, the proprietor, is as lovely, engaged and engaging as the villa she runs. Breakfasts, prepared by Paola, were some of the best we've had. Elena's hand - - and her exquisite taste in antiques and... More

Elena, her family and staff treated us like part of the family. A beautiful B&B, breakfast was amazing and be sure to ask about the private cooking class well worth the money we spent. This would be our first choice when returning to Parma.

My girlfriend an i were genuinely blown away by this hidden gem of a B&B. The whole place is beautiful whether it be the renovated old buildings or the impeccably well kept grounds. Our room was gorgeous and the decor sublime. The place was almost like a dream or felt like a honeymoon! The breakfast was a fine selection and... More

This B & B is a gem in a quiet location. The property is beautifully decorated with plenty of areas to relax. Our room was very spacious on the top floor on two levels which included a beautiful bathroom and an additional sitting area outside the room with two comfortable chairs. The hostess Elena was extremely friendly and helpful. We... More

Located in a residential area outside of Parma, this B&B is an exquisite, quiet retreat. The gardens are beautiful, as are the comfortable and well furnished rooms. Breakfast was delicious, serving home baked goods (and eggs!) Attention is given to every detail; furnishings, linens, silver, china, and personal care products. Elena is a fabulous host, offering excellent recommendations for dinner... More

Porporano is a small village a few minutes outside of Parma. The bed and breakfast is located right off the main (one) road of the town and charmingly blends in--the only indication that it's a place to stay is a small sign. Upon entering through the main gate, you stand in between two homes: on the left, the owners' gorgeous... More
