I stayed at this hotel for one night last September with a small group tour, and it was the standout hotel of the trip. The Cervetta is conveniently located in the heart of Modena. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. What stands out for this hotel is their dedication to service. Family run. Took a chance based on Tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. Pretty hard to find, because it's right behind the centro storico, and be brave and go down that super narrow one way street when you see the Hotel Cervetta 5 sign! Modena is a notoriously difficult city to find a good accomdation if you do not want stuffy old school hotels or rip offs on the city perimeter.
