Our room was quite stuffy and hot when we first got in. I had to open the doors to let the fresh air in. The room was tight with the king size bed in the middle. The room and bathroom were dark and needed more light. There were cabinets and drawers everywhere in the room. The lift was tight and... More

I had to stay in Modena for 1 month as I am working in policlinico, so I decided to check into this 4 star hotel... Most disappointing... Definitely not 4 start. The day I checked in, they switched off the air con system. The weather had not really turned cold yet... When asked about it, the hotel just asked more... More

Its was my 1st time to Italy, And my company have book this hotel for me due of near Maserati factory that I'm going for Induction training. This little hotel was out of Modena town and the receptionist have a few words of English speaking but they are helpful. The room light is dim and the hot water is ok... More

It was hot in our room when we arrived, approximately 88 degrees. We tried to make air conditioning work and weren't successful. Man in charge at front desk informed us it had been turned off for the season. He said he was hot also. I asked that it be turned back on as its way too hot to sleep in... More

We stayed here for 1 night in September, looking for a romantic luxury hotel in Modena old town, this is easily 1km from the old town so a good 15-20 min walk along a main road - hardly what we were looking for. That being said, its a lovely hotel, with a great breakfast and plenty of parking round the... More

I was quite surprised by this hotel. This was the first hotel on the trip where we ate and I found the food below standard in fact it was awful but I think this might have had something to do with the fact that we were on a coach tour - they quite obviously fed the other guests with different... To be honest, this hotel is correctly situated, the rooms are a bit tiny, but we are in Italy, so what? Anyway, the balcony was great with a nice view of the city of Modena. Quite off of everything unfortunately, and the walkway to the city center is not really the nicest. I was having one major problem the hotel... More

I've stayed here twice on business and both times found this to be a good choice for Modena. Reasonable rates, large, clean room, and good location. Approximately a 1.5 km walk to the center of Modena. Very nice breakfast buffet in the morning. I would not recommend the dinner buffet - there are dozens of very good restaurants either very... Too hot, too noisy, too far from town. It's outdated and clunky interior and huge impersonal public spaces make it feel like a mid-seventies Soviet hotel built to house conferences about tractor production or the beetroot harvest. Typical Italian it ain't. It sits on a busy road junction, the air con doesn't work so at night you have to keep... More

This clearly is a hotel that caters to business travelers and not tourists. There were numerous suits in the lobby, and suits at breakfast, and none around during the day. That being said, I think they do an excellent job catering to the Italian the business scene, but the tourists get left behind. The breakfast was mediocre - some things... More
