There aren't a lot of reviews for hotels in Modena, so I wanted to make sure I submitted one. We stayed here for one night so that we could take a private tour down to Maranello to go to the Ferarri Museum. The guy who greeted us at the front desk was really nice and helpful in explaining what there... more

We have just returned from a trip to Europe and the Hotel Liberta lives up to all expectations. We booked a double room but ended up with a suite! The service provided by this family owned Hotel is first class. It is a short walk away from the Duomo and a number of great restaurants and bars. We had dinner... more

The location is great close to the center of town. The rooms are very clean but my room was no bigger then a walk in closet in my home. The very large skylight with the slopped roof made the room very hot and the A.C. is very poor. They also shut the A.C. off every day when you leave the... more

I honestly can not believe the price of this hotel. Our room was awful. The comforter looked to be over 20 years old, the decor was stuck in the 80's. We were told the room had AC and while it did have a unit, the options were either on or off. You could not control the temperature. During our time... more

We needed a place to stay a night over for a friend's wedding. We thought that a central location would be confortable for a quick morning walk in the town of Modena. The place is good, clean and the staff very accomodating. There are a few good restaurants closeby and the city center is a couple blocks away. Watch out... more

Spent 3 days here in mid February this year. The hotel was very well situated near the centre, with two decent restaurants (Da Enzo and Belvedere da Danilo - both of which we tried) within 1 minutes walk Rooms comfortable. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakasts were fine, if not spectacular. Obviously not prime tourist time as we generally... more

I spent two nights in this hotel during a work related trip to Italy. It was booked and payed for by the local hosts so no saying on my part in that department. The hotel is quite pleasant, clean and staff was very friendly. The room was large and easily suitable for a small family. The only thing I could... more

Various times in 2004 and 2005. located in the center of town, this is one of the cosiest hotels I ever stay in. The service is always up to the fabolous courtesy typical of the region. If you have to go to Modena you have to stay in this affordable but very friendly Hotel. more

We chose the Hotel Liberta and Modena on a lark; we had three nights to spend en route from Asti to Venice. The room (a suite) was very comfortable. The manager, Fabrizio, was wonderful. He gave us suggestions for dinners as well as places to visit both in Modena and also its environs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would... more
