We stayed for a second time in August 2015, 3 years after our first visit. Both times were just short stays, which is what I suspect this hotel is best for. There are now 2 jacuzzi tubs outside, and nice outdoor seating, but there isn't a great deal to do at the hotel itself. It makes an excellent base, however,... More

We booked Hotel Castello as a base whilst visiting Maranello, following our review of Trip Advisor reports. This turned out - as always - to be really good decision. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was large and bright with a small balcony, air con, safe, minibar and more... More

We stayed here for only one night while visiting Maranello and I would have been happy to stay for a week!! We are a family of four and had two rooms. Both rooms were enormous by Italian standards and clean and comfortable. The gardens are lovely and the the jacuzzi was great to relax in after a long hot day.... More

who even booked a dog-sitter for our Pulis so we could go to a non dog-friendly restaurant for lunch (Osteria Francescana now voted the second best in the world!). Terrific breakfast and very clean comfortable and spacious rooms. The centre of town is only a short taxi ride and lack of hotel restaurant not a problem as we had pizzas... More

This was a great hotel for our 2 night stay before we began our quest to Florence and Rome. It was very clean, the rooms were nice and the included breakfasts were very tasty. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

Our family stayed here so we could do the car museums. The hotel was very nice. Great staff, very friendly. Best breakfast in Italy so far. Lots of variety. Lovely gardens where you can relax & enjoy the outdoors. They have also two outdoor jacuzzis. Lovely to relax in at the end of the day.

We stayed in this hotel on route through Italy as our base for 2 nights. It was an excellent choice. The rooms are of a high standard. There is a very pleasant seating area outside to have a drink and ample car parking. Add to that very polite staff and a good breakfast which was included in the price of... More

This is really a nice place to stay when visiting Modena and the neighboring area. The hotel offers everything you could want. Free parking, great location, good wifi, super nice woman at desk that was so helpful, and beautiful grounds. Next time we will stay longer and use some of the attractions at the hotel. Modena is a place to... More

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times while visiting family in Modena. We love it. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the staff is warm and pleasant, and the breakfasts are excellent. This hotel is just outside the road that circles Modena, and for this reason it is convenient only for visitors traveling by car... More

Very nice clean room with a comfy bed awaiting our first evening in Italy after 20 hrs travelling. They kindly arranged for Acetaia Estense to be expecting us to buy some Balsamico as soon as we arrived in Modena. Would stay again.
