The hotel is on an unprepossessing stretch of road a few kms east of he city. Lots of (free) parking within the grounds. The entrance is nicely impressive and the welcome fantastic. Our room was 1st floor facing the main road - but the shutters and double glazing cut the noise down adequately. Bedding was a bit random, a pathetically... More

Very welcoming hospitable staff, seemed to always have a smile. Great breakfast with plenty to choose from. The hotel is on a main road and it's surprisingly quiet in the hotel. I found it clean, comfortable warm. I had a single room and found the bathroom a little on the cramped side. The room it's self was OK, comfortable and... More

In the summer of 2010 my family took a trip through Italy on our way to Oberagammau Germany to see the Passion Play. Staying on the smaller roads as we were going North, we passed through Modena and on the rare chance we could keep within our budget, we stopped at this fantastic property. Visually the property is imposing, very... More

I had not stayed in this hotel for many years, now I have had 2 stays in 3 weeks! Located just outside town on its own grounds just on the Bologna side of the Via Emilia outside of the Modena tangeciale this hotel is easily located. Big and airy this hotel has a welcoming feel to it. A novelty in... More

We didn't stay here in fact we were frustrated with our GPS and we were going to book in here. Margherita was at the front desk and went out of her way. She called the B&B and was able to direct us to our accommodation. Difficult when out Italian is limited and where we had booked were limited in their... More

Very nice hotel, great , helpful staff. Good business trip hotel , but probably a bit out of town for a holiday trip. I only had breakfast here, which was average, ie normal continental buffet but no complaints. My room was nice but nothing special. All in all , ok , a bit expensive for what it is but more... More

We stayed here last week in a lovely large suite with a separate sitting room and private terrace. One of the beauties of the hotel is that, while it is on a main road, it is back off the road in a very private (and quiet) setting. There was no noise from the street at all. An excellent breakfast is... More

This was not my first at this hotel but there was no improvement since the last time, back in 2009. The rooms are very small, breakfast is basic to spartan, and the walls in my room had cracks everywhere. Not really a 4 star hotel at all.

I just stayed there last week. The staff here is great and very helpful and friendly. They helped with making arrangements for quick little side trips and set up a dinner for our group right there in the hotel. I really like the fact that the rooms all have hot water pots so that you can make coffee. The rooms... More
