pros: good location, close to train station (with many bus stops), Casa Ferrari museum, and the historical city centre. good breakfast buffet. if you like jogging, the Novi Sad urban park is only 10 mins walk (er, jog) away, and it's excellent with a cycling/running loop and well lit in the evening. cons: rooms and room features quite basic --... My friend and I went to visit Modena for a day. The hotel next door was under construction and noisy. The rooms were very old and needed updating. Noisy at night because it is on the main road. Not far from the train station. Receptionist was very nice but the rooms and quality did not meet in price. Would choose... More

Yes building work did start at 07.45 in the morning, but we complained and were moved to another room of the same standard on the back of the hotel. We were there for the Ferrari Museum and it is ideally placed no more than a 10 minute walk.

Stayed one night with friends in a bigger room. The room smelt bad of old cigarettes and were missing towels. At 7am the building next door started to drill with a big machine. The hotel said it wasn't their fault and gave us only little discount after a lot of discussion, bad service! They knew about this construction work but... More

Confortable room, very nice people, good restaurant, welcom drink at the restaurant, and close to the station. Very convenient for a stay in Modena. If you choose a room not on the road side it will be more quiet.

Being in Modena for a couple of days, we stayed in this very convenient hotel near the train station and the city center. So, I cordially recommend it to the visitors who need an accomodation in this pretty Italian town. The rooms were clean and well designed, though not all of them air-conditioned, the service by all the hotel staff... More

Hotel Europa is a nice little hotel in the old city portion of Modena, so it is a little difficult to find due to the many one-way streets in the old city. The rooms were clean and adequately sized, neither spacious nor tiny. The bathroom was small but everything functioned well and there was plenty of hot water for three... More

We stayed in the hotel for three nights, and they were pleasant. The staff is well trained, are extremely cordial and patiently answer all your questions. The breakfast buffet is quite good, but mostly consists of sweet dishes which may or may not suit everybody. In compensation they serve amazing caffe. The partition walls are very thin, hence as one... More

We knew we would arrive late and be gone after breakfast so all we wanted was a clean room a bed and close to station. So it is close to the station, the room was clean, bed and breakfast was OK. However the room was very small. Definite 3 star or less and overpriced for what you actually get compared... More

Dear Michael, we are really glad that we were able to satisfy almost all expectations during your stay. In relation to the rate applied it could be possible that this were a little bit higher than usual due to high request for that period. In normal periods we offer very often to all our guests on our website or also... More

I stayed at hotel europa with my colleague in may.. I can say it is a poor hotel for what you pay.. It looks old, it was more like a hostel where you pay 30 Euro to stay.. it was clean but felt like staying in a hospital more than a hotel with 3 stars with its white cold tiles..... More
