And so in Modena we actually stayed in a spot recommended by the staff at Residenza Navona First (a fabulous Roman B&B who really took care of us....check them out at www.residenzanavonafirst.com). I'll start with the positives then work my way downhill! The staff were lovely especially the lady at breakfast who couldn't do enough to helpand we could park our car for free in a secure underground car park, but..... the hotel needs a major update! The first room we got had 3 single beds in it and smelt so musty... more

We've stayed at Donatello hotel for a couple of weeks now and are very happy with the service and hotel personnel. City center is just a 10 minute walk, restaurants are nearby. Swift connection to the tangentiale also. When you visit Modena for business or leisure and you're looking for a good price/quality hotel, then don't forget to checkout Donatello. more
