Basic hotel but clean. The strategic location is key, right next to Ferrari main gate and the new F1 building. A block from the museum. Having to be at the factory early next morning this is the perfect spot to stay in Maranello. Our suite on the top floor was nice, with a large terrace overlooking the F1 building. Plenty... More

I had already stayed at the Hotel Planet years ago on a Ferrari trip, where we had enjoyed the excellent parking garage suitable to the lowest of sportscars (finally, a place where you won't scratch your car's underside or fry the clutch manouvering in tight spaces!). I found the hotel unchanged, but a bit worse for wear. The room was... More

Me and my family Spent 5 nights at this hotel over Easter . The family room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed breakfast and there was ample parking. Across street from main entrance to Ferrari factory, official Ferrari store attached to hotel. Greta place to stay as well, clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, at least in November. Ferrari museum 5 minute walk. Downtown about a 10 minute walk

Barbara @I love Maranello suggested and booked the Planet Hotel as part of a birthday surprise weekend for my boyfriend. Trusting Barbara's advice that this was the best location to stay, we were not disappointed at all. We had a gorgeous spacious room, the breakfast was yummy, the staff helpful and cheery. Location wise it was perfect. Close to all... More

Most visitors to Maranello would have its role as the birthplace and centre of activity for Ferrari well in mind and the Planet is ideally located for petrol head pilgrimages. It is just across the road from the main factory entrance, next door to the main Ferrari store and Enzo's favourite Cavallino restaurant, and only a very short walk from... More

21/09/14...4th stop on our Grand Tour of Europe. A great experience for both of us and very memorable. I booked this stopover specifically because it is 'Ferrari town'. My wife was pretty ambivalent about the stop in all honesty and in the planning stages she did her best to humour me! However, from the moment we walked into The Planet... More

This is, hands down, the very best place to stay if you want to visit the Ferrari Museum and experience all of the Ferrari charm of Modena and Maranello. It is two blocks from the Ferrari Museum, across the street from the entrance to the Ferrari Factory, right next door to Ristorante Cavalino and the main Ferrari Store is attached... More

Six of us arrived on our bicycles and were well looked after by the friendly staff who immediately booked us into the amazing Cavalino restaurant. Rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was good. Pricing was a bit high, but the location made up for it. There is also a secure car park downstairs for either cars or bicycles. I would...
