A smart hotel with good breakfast facilities. It has a lovely bar overlooking a small park to the side. Our room faced inwards and was a bit gloomy but comfortable nevertheless. Breakfast appears to be served in a (former) small theatre!

I had already read that rooms could be noisy and asked for a room facing the park. On arrival we were too early for check in (we arrived at 1pm) and came back at 2pm but our room still wasn't ready, staff were helpful and very professional and offered a free coffee while we waited. Eventually around 2.30pm we got... More

Room 418, 419, 420, 401, 402, 403 & 415' all front a very busy road that carries bus, truck & car traffic, from early in the morning until very late at night. I heard it through the the double glazed windows & shutters, I presume the same room numbers on the other floors suffer from the same traffic noise! The... More

Lovely hotel. We booked 2 rooms and upon arrival, the hotel must have been full as were allocated a 2 room suite, the imperial suite, in place of 2 rooms. Massive room complex with upstairs patio, dining area, lounge, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very funky, clearly set up as an entertainment venue for small gatherings, but funky. In room... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights during a 5 day trip to Bologna. The restaurant squeezed us in at the last minute, and the meal was superb! Highly recommend eating here.....dishes were beautiful, the most amazing bread selection I've ever been served!! Our room had an amazingly decorated ceiling and fantastic original artwork on the walls (although I would... More

Very good 4/5 star property well located midway between station and centre of old town (easy walk to both). Easy to get to by car, unlike some other hotels in Bologna. Leave your car outside and they park it overnight for a fee. Our room was a good size in the older part, but fully renovated to a very high... More

Superb service from friendly, non-pretentious staff. Modern rooms were compact but well-equipped and serviced. Breakfast was the best we experienced in our two weeks of travel throughout Italy. Guidance on activities, restaurant recommendations, etc. were all on target.

lovely suite with terrace, all the staff friendly and helpful, British Hoteliers could learn from The Italians! Only downside, on both occasions I asked for the room to be prepared for our return after dinner, a service which they apparently offer but on neither nights it was not done!

OK Hotel but a bit sterile. Friendly and professional staff. Good location for station and centre. Room was one of the noisiest I have ever stayed in. There was a bus stop next to our window and the noise of buses revving outside was terrible. Usually managed about 4 hours sleep each night.

This hotel offers fairly good quality at walking distance of the historic center. Rooms can be noisy on the street side. Hotels and rooms are clean, but we had a microscopic small shower. I would say that for the price you pay it is a bit too basic. Their restaurant on the other hand is excellent. There is a nice... More
