We went to Bologna for an exhibition and we stayed at the Mua for one night. This B&B is situated in a small lane in downtown Bologna (5 minutes walk to Piazza Maggiore or Palazzo Fava where the exhibition is). There is no sign on the door but only on the bell plate. The owner is very helpful in giving... More

Great place to stay. Good location for exploring the city and easy to get around as lots of local buses pass nearby. Modern comfortable decor and a great bathroom. Wifi access was free and fast. Breakfast is fantastic with good choice of pastries, cheeses and freshly squeezed juice. Highly recommended and can't wait to return to Bologna for another stay

don't be put off by the area especially if you arrive while the shops are closed ! once you get inside its great. There is however a staircase to negotiate before you finally arrive! Its modern and minimalist but has everything you need . rooms are well equipped and breakfast is good quality. Above all its spotlessly clean. I didn't... More

We decided at fairly short notice to have a week in Bologna as a silver wedding treat. A lot of the hotels we looked at close to the centre were booked out. We like small family run places, so opted to try Mua, which was described as a B&B and were so glad we did. It is actually more like... More

Mua is a great alternative to the standard city hotel concept. Housed in an old palazzo in the city centre, it's interior is slick and modern and yet because of its layout and small number of rooms, gives u a feeling of being at home. The owner or manager umberto is there to greet u and gives u all the... More

The Mua is close to the center of town and on a quiet street. It is in a neighborhood with a distinct character that is not as touristy as hotels in the center of town. You really don't give up any conveniences at this BB. Friendly staff, comfy and a decent rate. Recommeded!!

A great place close to everything. Rooms were of a good size and had everything you could need. On arrival Umberto the host gave us a great overview of the city and suggested some great places to eat. Overall an excellent stay.

From the minute you walk in, the design tells you that the owners have a refined aesthetic. The dottore and her architect husband made great use of the space and their minimalist approach gives the traveler a quiet and tranquil room for relaxation after a long day of exploring this charming city. The bus from the airport left us less... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay in Mua. It was our first stay in a B & B and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were glad that we had taken a taxi from the airport as even the taxi driver looked a little puzzled when we pulled up outside the door saying Domus, We were met by the charming... More

Stayed at Muà whilst attending a conference in Bologna. Whilst technically a B&B it is a far reach from any traditional B&B I have ever stayed in. The proprietor Uberto's brother is an architect and was responsible for the gorgeous modern minimalist interior design of Muà. It's a perfect counterpoint to the stunning traditional more ornate environment you'll find outside... More
