Casa Ilaria had such a pleasant, homy and overall oldspirit immpression that we started imagining how it would be to move and live that life. Clean and centrally located. It was pleasant and comfortable, but we were hoping for something more customer-friendly. Casa Ilaria did not live up to its web page. The casa is somewhat worn since the photos were taken. The bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. Casa Ilaria is a very nice, clean, new (completely gutted in 2004; then more in 2009) B&B; 1 floor walk-up. Spacious bedrooms, private baths (across the hall), and quiet - but only a few minutes from all the sights. first of all casa ilaria is now a 4 bedroom, 4 bath B&B. during our stay ilaria had the upstairs bedrooms finished with ensuite bathrooms. they are even more spacious than the original 2 rooms. all in all one of my best vacations ever...and not just in italy. we booked local tours with ilaria to parma and modena...the personal service...
