The hotel couldn't be better placed for the centre of city life. We stayed for 2 nights and found it clean and comfortable although quiet isn't a word I'd use to describe our room which looked out over a vibrant narrow street of fish stalls, beautiful looking fruit and veg shops and mouthwatering, aromatic Parmesan cheeses and prosciutto. If you... More

This hotel is well located with all the major attractions in walking distance. The street around the hotel has quirky meat and veg shops. We stayed in Room 207, it was quiet (for Bologna). The decor of the hotel and rooms are quirky and interesting.

We stayed in room 303, which was not facing the street so it was pretty quiet when the window was shut. Intermittent wi-fi but the desk clerk did try and fix it. Our room was spacious, by European standards but the bathroom had a tub with a handheld shower and no shower curtain, making it impossible to shower. They will... More

Great little hotel for 1 night but no elevator to front desk where the elevator starts...lol The room was ok but you hear your neighbours as if there in your own quarters. It is very well located for all the attractions and restaurant. 10 minutes taxi ride from train station.

This is a great place to stay in the very heart of Bologna's lively historic centre with a host of great bars, shops, restaurants and food stalls right on your doorstep. We loved the location as we only stayed in Bologna for 2 nights and wanted to be close to the essential sights and sounds and flavours. - wee weren't... More

This is a wonderful small hotel in the middle of the historic center of Bologna. . Location of this place is perfect - flower shop, fish shops, small cafe, most significant historic places to see - all are within 1-5 minutes walk. It is difficult to imagine the better place, if you would like to get feeling of how local... More

This hotel is what one thinks of when dreaming of Italy! Charming and friendly, in the heart of old town. Great shower, comfortable beds. Breakfast Is a delight with Iliana. The flower market and fish market are across the street. The streets come alive at night with music and even some dancing.

Albergo delle Drapperie is a wonderful place with so many good things close by. I had heard good and bad reports about this place but we found that the room we stayed in was large, light, clean and quiet on the third floor with a view and a comfortable table and chairs. The bathroom was equipped with everything needed but... More

This was such a wonderful location, in amongst the the twisting paths and shops but......so so difficult to find as it is in a no driving zone. Even though we had received directions on where to park it was still very very difficult to find, but in the end worth it. We didn't include breakfast as there are so many... More

A charming hotel, in an excellent position in the old part of the city. Shops, restaurants, bars and cafes all within walking distance. We had a lovely room with beamed ceiling, spacious and very clean. The staff were all pleasant and very helpful. Our only criticism was the breakfast, which was somewhat lacking. But good coffee! The wifi connection, which... More
