The lady on reception couldn't have been nicer throughout my New Year's treat.Second stay in the hotel. On the plus side the single room I was allocated this time was slightly bigger but the old problems still persist! Find it very difficult to place my everyday things as even the small bedside table was sealed, hence lots of clutter.Breakfast one of the... More

We were trying to keep things simple, price wise, for this trip without compromising the quality of our stay. This hotel offered pretty basic accommodation, a clean twin bedded top floor room with a very good sized ensuite bathroom. This is a hotel for getting a nights sleep or a snooze during the afternoon and spending the rest of the... More

A quaint hotel located in the centre of Bologna. Perfectly located in the very centre of Bologna amongst the delicious food markets. Waking each morning to see the fruit and vegetables, displayed beautifully was amazing. Friendly, polite staff and good breakfast each day. Our room was large and had a balcony that overlooked the market on the neighbouring street. Strong... More

If you are a looking for city center location and busy shopping areas this is the location to go for, for me personally it was to busy and I couldn't relax, and the architecture was very overpowering. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel facilities were average.

The hotel is located in the very centre of Bologna, in narrow streets with a look of fruit and fish shops. There you get an impression of life in Bologna, it is definitely not a touristic area, although a lot of sights are within walking distance. I can recommend everyone to stay there, because you are in the heart of... More

Spent 3 nights here, room was excellent, clean and spacious. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our break in this lovely hotel. Would definitely stay again if in Bologna. The central location means you can walk pretty much every where and you get a feel for the great atmosphere at the heart of Bologna!

Great front desk staff, a very friendly hotel. Unique rooms, quirky, and in a great spot. Bed was average. Air con good. Didn't have breakfast as so close to cafes and restaurants. We'd definitely go back.

I spent one night at Albergo Drapperie as a solo traveller. It was in the best location, right in the heart of Bologna beside cafés, restaurants and little market stalls. The area was busy, full of character and atmosphere, just what I like. The generic shops you can find anywhere are just a 5 walk away. Camellia, the lovely Receptionist,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in mid-August, during a very hot spell in Bologna but the air-conditioning meant the room was a pleasant temperature at any time of the day. Our room looked out onto the tiny street below with market stalls and small shops and was traditional in decor. Right from the beginning all of the the staff... More

We only stayed one night in Bologna and this hotel was fantastic right in the centre of the fantastic food market and close to all the historic sites and restaurants. The staff were warm, helpful AND friendly!! The room was clean and quiet and one of the best showers we had experienced in Italy. It is a simple hotel but... More
