A nice and interesting hotel in Bologna. Choosen because of it is a historical building. It was interesting, with frescos on the walls and brick ceilings. Staff was kind and helpfull. We decided to bring our 13 months baby together as last time and they arradged the cot for him. Room was clean but bathroom is flooding after 15 min... More

Stayed here for a few nights on a work trip. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was average, mainly pastries (which were tasty) but no hot food option although various coffee varieties were offered. A bit of a shame considering the price charged (one of the most expensive hotels I've stayed in.) Room was comfortable, chic and clean and... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely neighbourhood away from the noise and tourists. Very good staff always helpful and good breakfast. Beautifully decorated old convent with lovely decor. We stayed in the Deluxe room.Walking distance to all the sights and a great gelato place just round the corner.

The place is easily accessible and a short walk to the center of the city. The hotel however has prison-like corridors, very strange room decor, lack of carpeting, bathroom in badly need of refurbishing and overall lack of simple room comforts. The hotel reception are is nice, well-decorated, but don't expect the same to spread throughout the hotel.

This was an easily accessible and charming hotel on the very edge of the historic center of Bologna. Parking was easy and inexpensive. The service was very good. It's a very small place, with maybe only about 10 rooms, and it is an old convent. My room was extremely reasonably priced, and was a double height space, with a small... More

Large room very oddly and uncomfortably decorated .Bathroom has a glass door offering no privacy ,The shallow sink splashes all over ,The shower is a waterfall type that does not really work so you have to use the handheld to rinse off.It also had mold in the corners(yuck)The in room sofa was in poor condition. The bed was very hard and... This was such a lovely hotel! We didn't know what to expect, but Bologna as a whole really impressed us. The service and the room was amazing and it's within walking distance of the city centre and public transport. I would definitely stay in this hotel if ever I get the opportunity to return to Bologna. Loved it!

Tucked away on the south side of the City this small quirky hotel in a converted convent is well worth a visit. It only has about a dozen rooms each one with individual decor. Our room was perfect if a little bit noisey from the street below. The reception areas beautifully echoed the convent feel. The staff are charming and helpful.Only 10/15 minutes walk... Converted convent - staff very helpful and friendly. Parking a bit of a problem but it is anywhere in bologna. Rooms very individual and unusually furnished. About 15 mins walk from old centre. Not in the best street in bologna but worth a try

If you prefer the typical chain hotel layout and service then this is probably not for you. While some of the limitations mentioned in the other reviews here are fair, this is a really good choice if you want a good clean hotel but with some distinctive character. This was my second short stay at the Convento. The staff I... More
