It's not a typical Holiday Inn (only franchised by Holiday Inn) as it is an up to date older building (contains a beautiful small chapel) connected with a new building (build about 2004). Stayed here for a night en route from Florence to Milan. Pretty nice for a random Holiday Inn in Italy. Italy is amazing that way, even the Holiday Inn's have nice Italian artwork in the rooms. This hotel is about 30 minutes from downtown Bologna, but everything in Bologna was booked or very expensive, so this was a good alternative. more
