Modern hotel with comfortable spacious rooms and big bathroom. Oversized beds. Located 10 to 15 min walk from center of town. Good for exploring the city but also for business meetings. Standard breakfast. Parking is within the building at 12 Eu/day.

The Aemilia provides everything it promises - comfort, ease, good service and high standards. If you're looking for classic architecture or atmosphere then Aemila may disappoint, but if you need a base for travelling, exploring and relaxing then this hotel is perfect. Drinks on the roof as the sun goes down is fab. Thanks everyone for a comfortable stay.

We stayed just one night. The room was large with a comfortable large bed and terrific bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful in a large beautiful room. The center of town is a 15 minute walk. We were near the university. Fortunately for us since it was raining a lot of the buildings have porticos (covered sidewalks). Our hotel is hard to... More

...yes the Aemilia is a little outside the "city" wall but it's only a 15 minute walk to the main Piazza in the middle of town in a quieter neighborhood. Everything is very clean and modern. It's not a mega big hotel so it "feels" comfortable. For those with a car, the parking is a invaluable advantage ! We stayed... More

Very nice, clean and big rooms (including a quite large bed)! The hotel is not located exactly in the city center but it is just a short walk (maybe 15 minutes)from the main streets! Also if you have a car, just park it at the hotel and walk around, the city's galleries and streets are beautiful. Breakfast was also very... More

We stayed just one night in Bologna to allow a tour of the Ducati factory for my husband but still wanted it to be nice as was part of our honeymoon. The Aemilia hotel was just the job- spotlessly clean, we had booked a panoramic view room anyway but think they upgraded slightly to a higher floor and a newly... More

This is a great hotel, good value, spotlessly clean , very good breakfast and friendly staff. The only down side is the location as it's about 15 mins from the centre of town and the walk back at night is along poorly lit streets. I would think again if you have walking problems or have young children. Everything else was... More

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights this November. The hotel felt quite new, everything was very clean. The desk clerk said that she's putting my partner and I in the "most romantic" room they had, since we were away on a romantic trip through Italy. The funny thing is that for 4 consecutive days we... Clean and quite big room with huge bed and bathroom. The panoramic view was really nice, the staff very friendly and helpful, parking space was reasonably cheap, and breakfast with a lot of tasty food to choose from. The inner part of the city is a 15-minute walk away. If you get a good deal it's the perfect hotel to... More

Stayed for 4 nights in a twin room. I requested a room with a view and was pleased to be given a room on the 6th floor with a great view of the city. They have a great roof garden which is bigger than it looks in the hotel photographs, so nice to have this outdoor space, My teenage son... More
