This hotel is completely unsympathetic to changes you make in your tavel plans after their cancellation date. I needed to cancel my reservations with this hotel TWO DAYS in advance and return to the USA, due to the critical illness of my mother. This is a great traditional family run hotel in the centre of Bologna within easy walking distance of all the main sights and restaurants. It's always difficult choosing a hotel even for a short break, but this one was just great. It's in a narrow side street, so quiet, but only five minutes from the busy centre. The staff are the biggest asset of this hotel. Super friendly and very helpful with great recommendations for places to visit and eat at, all in walking distance.
