B&B Santo Stefano is not easy to find, but once you're there, the anscient front of the building discloses wonderful rooms in cosy italian style. We received a very warm welcome, rooms were very clean, wifi equipped, modern designed and cosy. Breakfast is above Italian B&B average with fresh fruits, cappuccinos, sandwiches, local cheeses, italian hams etc. The private parking... More

My partner and I have just returned from staying in these beautiful apartments which are situated next door to the bed and breakfast. We found the address to be extremely easy to get to from the airport...costing about 20euro's. The security of the building is very comforting...initially a very heavy outside door...leading into the building with a locked gate inside.... More

This was my second time staying at the B&B, although I also have stayed in the apartments that Giovanni owns. All I can tell you is that B&B Santo Stefano is the best B&B I've stayed in anywhere. The rooms are good-sized, absolutely clean, and quiet even though they overlook the street. The breakfast is fresh and extensive, and they... More

We stayed at the Santo Stefano apartment next door the B&B. We caught a taxi from the train station, which I recommend too far to walk taxi will cost about 10 euro. Giovanni had contacted me day before to arrange key pickup and that all went well. He showed us to a lovely apartment that was our home for three... More

Lovely property in a classic building. Giovanni is a considerate host and the rooms are simple, modern yet elegant. Probably the best WIFI we've ever had in a B&B. Very convenient to Piazza Maggiore and restaurants. Take a cab from the station, but then you can walk everywhere.

Beautiful, modern rooms. Great, extensive breakfast. Very trendy field. Conveniently located. Bologna is a more expensive than compared to most of the rest of Italy, but the room price was very reasonable relative to what you get. This place is also home to the world's slowest elevator. Seriously, come prepared for small talk with the owner or 2 minutes of... More

We spent a couple of nights here between Christmas and new year. It is located on the top floor of a palazzo on a lovely street. There is a lift (possibly the world's slowest lift, but it does work). The B&B is like an apartment. You enter a hallway which is like a mini library. The décor is very tasteful... More

When we booked it we did not realized it was an apartment. However, once we got in we felt like being at home. All very clean, located in the center of the city, excellent breakfast, nice views on the on city, not noisy at all (even if you always depend on other's behaviour). The parking issue is well solved with... More

What a find -- great location, kind owner and staff, stylish and comfortable rooms, this is a wonderful spot. Delicious breakfast buffet, helpful recommendations about Bologna, really pretty perfect. Read another review that said it was 10-15 mins from the center -- for us it was more like five, along the arcaded Santa Stefano. Bologna is a delightful place. Wish... More

Once again I was not let down by Tripadvisor and hit my target. I mostly prefer to stay at self catering aparts and this was the ideal spot. These newly converted old residential buildings offer the comfort of a house with the conviniance of a hotel. Highly recommend.
