Very modern hotel but basic. We had massive wifi problems for the 4 days there. Lovely bedroom and a massive washroom, Lovely town and great places to see all within walking distance. Would stay again if they sort the WIFI out

Stayed one night in city for business. Paid close to 300 euro And had the worst stay at a hotel anywhere in world. This hotel is out of the 1960's And feels like a men's club complete with dark paneling , darkened windows, And fluorescent (horrible) lights in rooms, bathroom, lobby... Seemed clean but Didnt feel clean. Everything was dark,... More

Friends of us booked the Grand Hotel Elite in Bologna not knowing what to expect, the location was the main point of attraction at the time , to our surprise the bed room was spacious and clean with plenty natural light, bathroom excellent with bidet and a large shower, to our surprise the linens were being changed every day,, breakfast... 2 CONS: rooms a bit smelly (mustiness) with a scary looking-ceiling; service not always useful: they did not bring towels, although they promised to do so. also, they were not friendly enoug - opening a hotel garage after 11 PM appeared as a problem for them.. PROS: location, specific athmosphere in the hotel bar, quiet rooms. GENERALLY, decent value for... More

This hotel is 10 years overdue for a refurbishment, staff are unhelpful and too arrogant to respond to email requests during your booking process. The hotel is a 20min walk from the main square in Bologna, which is not an issue as the walk is quite easy. The rooms smell of damp timber, and we could not access the wifi... More

Hotel was advertised as having a bathtub and it didn't. Was also advertised as having wifi and it didn't! I spoke to somebody at the desk regarding lack of wifi and was told the rooms do have it. While there was a network I couldn't get any signal on it. Tried three devices and none worked. No resolution offered. This... More

Let's keep this short. Got a 4 person room. Came with two single beds and one queen/king sized bed. Had fridge/bar area. Decent sized room and bathroom. Location was ok/good. ~15 minute walk from the downtown area, depending on your pace. Breakfast was good and had a pretty wide selection. Saved my group time and money that we would have... More

Before even stepping inside this hotel you do get a sense of going back in the 80's this is because the whole décor is dated and in need of some tlc. If you are on a business trip make sure your shirts are ironed or go to a laundry ( there are a couple not too far away) as there... More

We booked family holiday at this hotel in october 2013 with my family. This was the worst experience we ever had! We initially contacted the reception to confirm our booking and was surprised to receive the following RUDE reply: ""You already have a booking confirmation number! In addition, Booking.com has already sent you an email confirmation of your booking! Of... More
