This hotel looks pretty. It was clean and the breakfast was alright, apart from the window-less, miserable room with no atmosphere (like eating in a library!). On the plus side, the hotel is a 5 min walk from the train station. Unfortunately on our first night we were met with prostitutes less than 200 yrds from the hotel entrance. That... more

The hotel Europa is located very close to the station, a 5 minute walk. We did a trip to Florence for the day (1 hour) by train. It is about 15 minutes walk down to Piazza Maggiore, the central part of town. Our first impression of the hotel was not good. The man who was on reception when we checked... more

Stayed one night in this beautiful, spaciouse hotel on a layover. Found it through Tripadvisor reveiws, all of which were positive as I also found it to be so. The rooms are well appointed with excellent beds and lovely linens. The bathroom was elegant with a huge glassed in shower and heavy terry towels and bath robe(more 5star than the... more

The Europa was good value - we were a small group and they gave us an excellent price. Our room was small but reasonably comfortable. However, soundproofing was poor - we could hear people walking about in the room overhead. Like other reviewers, the room temperature was problematic - very hot even though there was snow on the gorund otuside.... more

We stayed here for business trip 3 days. Wifi was expensive €88 for the week or €21 per day. There was some noise coming from somewhere waking you up at 6AM continuing to around 9. Heating in room did not work properly. It was 4 degrees outside and 14 in the room. Not freezing but let us say it was... more

Stayed for 3 nights in July 2008. We found the hotel and the staff excellent. The rooms were a good size, clean and had air conditioning. The food for breakfast was also good. It was a 5 minute walk to the train station and about 10 -15 minutes’ walk to the main square. We felt very safe and would recommend... more

Just returned from visiting Bologna on a last minute trip and it was terrific. The hotel is upmarket and situated in the business quarter within a few blocks of city centre. There are many ways to quickly access the shopping centres, parks and restaurants from here. The breakfast is buffet style and there is a broad variety on offer including... more

This is a four-star hotel located near the train station and a too-long and not interesting or appealing walk to the historic core. Our room #223 was nicely decorated and housekeeping was good. Breakfast was exceptionally good, including abundant fresh fruit such as strawberries, which were in season during our visit. The room rate was a great value. Elsewhere, we... more
