It's not the ritz- but you know what? It's clean, the staff are helpful, the wifi is good, the rooms were really lovely and quaint, the shower was AMAZING (always important for me), also it's only a 15 min easy walk into the heart if bologna. You get what you pay for- but in this one you won't be disappointed.... More

This hotel was a poor experience for my wife & I travelling through Bologna. I guess you get what you pay for, older style room, furniture that needs to be updated & what would have to be the worst 'free' breakfast included I have ever experienced. Very limited choice & stale pastries that should have thrown out days before. The... More

Stayed there for about 5 days. Good and clean basic hotel, although breakfasts and kinda poor. Parking was really small and crowded. Hotel is placed not far from oldtown and city center. Receptionists were nice and really helpful.

Stayed here for 4 nights while doing business and found it to be a good, basic hotel. The room was clean with basic amenities, a bit noisy due to traffic. Breakfast consisted of cereals, yogurt, fruit and pastries. The staff was courteous and polite.

Nice, clean hotel and helpful front desk. Breakfast was OK and the walk to the various sites, train station, etc. was very doable. Parking is very limited and the city is noisy. Hard to sleep when they are picking up the garbage outside your window at 11:30 at night.

Just returned from 3 night stay. There is no welcome or service at this hotel. The breakfasts have to be the worst ever experienced. Stale croissants and rolls, tinned fruit. The rooms were clean but outside hotel are rows of rubbish bins collected noisily at about 6 every morning. Air conditioning on request if you know to ask. no information about... More

The service leaves quite a bit to wish for, even if at this rate you can't and shouldn't expect stellar behaviour from the reception, some common courtesy would be appreciated. As another guest already noted, the air conditioning is controlled from the front desk which sometimes means that you'll be either too cold or too warm. The nigh tech sollution... More

Stayed at the Blumen for two nights the first week of July. The rooms are spacious but spartan, the furniture is robust and comfortable but not refined (relative to other three-star hotels in Italy). All in all, no major complaints---minor ones might be that the coffee is so-so, the yogurt becomes warm by 9am, only the front desk controls the... More
