For a place to sleep, it works! It is small, and very clean, and the staff is extremely helpful and the breakfast is very good..........all you can drink cappuccino. Generally the rooms were very tiny, but this hotel doesn't pretend to be a luxury hotel...........a nice walk into town, but no more than 10 minutes. I would stay here again. more

The Hotel Nuovo del Porto is about a 10 minute walk from the train station and another 10 minute walk to the center of Bologna. I love to walk and found it all a breeze - I walked everywhere from the hotel. It's on a fairly quiet side street off a very busy (loud) street. There is always some scooter... more

Stayed here for three nights and it was fine. Nice room, convenient location for both the train station and the historic centre, very good breakfast with fresh pastries. Only slight problem is that you get a bit of noise from the other rooms. We paid €59 a night which I think was great value. more
