For the price that you pay, you are getting excellent value. Almost everything about this hotel is perfect. Among other things, the location is about as central as you can get. You're a 5 minute walk to Bologna Centrale. You're 25 metres from Via Mille. Bottom line: it's very central. I wholeheartedly agree with the last review. Staff is friendly,... More

This is a great value hotel in Bologna, we were so glad we booked it. First and foremost, I want to mention the service of the reception staff. Quick check in, efficient, polite, friendly, and very helpful with any inquiries. Full marks. Well done, guys! You made this a five. Next, the location. Its kinda half way between the station... I needed a hotel near Bologna Station for one night only. This fitted my budget and was a great location. Very central. Rooms were clean, and a reasonable size. I peersonally prefer a thicker mattress and the furniture was a bit 'mix & match', but I have stayed in much worse that cost more. The wifi was OK. The staff... More

Rather basic, but very comfortable. Very nice staff. Located between the city centre (10-min walk) and the main railway station. The only drawback was very weak wi-fi, but they gave us an Ethernet cable at the reception and this solved the Internet problem.

My wife, the Trip Advisor guru, always says that if you want the full picture, then read ALL the reviews. Indeed, perspective is always relative! Some come to 1- 3 star with 4 - 5 star expectations. Some act like they belong to a new ducal aristocracy. Others like myself, look too much on the bright side for the $$... More

I made the mistake of paying ahead for a 7 night stay as it offered quite a deal (I thought). I arrived the second week in October. The first room they gave me smelled of smoke (I was told later that they did not smell it...even though I found an empty cigarette wrapper upon entry). With hind sight, I should... More

The room was minimalistisc, but we really liked the design with the roof window high up, allowing day light to wake us up in the morning. Also the location was good, okay to walk with luggage from the train station and a nice walk to the center. Good restaurants nearby, excellent pub next door and delicous gelato maybe fifty meters... pros: very good price for this quality, close to train station, very clean and nice, spatious rooms with everything one needs (except maybe a minibar), quiet by night, very nice staff, nice cheese at breakfast :) cons: at the edge of center, room (104) had a strange shape (felt like sleepin in a corridor), thin walls, no ventillation in bathroom,...
