We traveled off season and the rates were a great value. Staff friendly, room and bathroom were large fry European standards. Rooms are clean but a bit dated (i.e. some tiles may be cracked/chipped, etc). This doesn't bother us, but if it is a concern for you know that it's there. Decent breakfast. Awesome location - only 5-10 min walking... More

Holiday Hotel can be a bit tricky to find but it is a lovely and essential hotel. It is situated nearby Bologna Centrale (Main Station) and the main places of interest like La Torre Degli Asinelli. The staff was nice and friendly and the room was alright.

We stayed here on the final leg of our 10 day Italian Road trip. We flew from bologna so we decided to have a day, night before the flight. Hotel was nothing special but did suit our needs as fairly close to the main train station and centre. Rooms were adequate and had recently been refurbished. We found it hard... More

Friendly staff, nice clean room. There are a few rules though which we felt restricting. One was no eating or drinking in the room and food found in room would be fined (I think this was more referring to food taken away from breakfast). Breakfast was charged extra so we did not have this. The bathroom and shower were quite... More

This hotel is ideally situated for accessing both the main train station and also all of the places of interest in Bologna. Our room was well-equipped and clean. The beds were comfy. The excellent information pack with loads of useful hints on attractions, travel around the city, where to eat etc. was most helpful. The reception staff were helpful and... More

This is a most useful hotel if you wish to get to the train station quickly. It is not an expensive hotel, and I found it quickly on arrival from the airport. The room was great and as I had a downstairs room then taking our luggage was not a problem. The breakfast was good and enough to fortify you... More

Its ok for an overnight but as a hotel more like two stars than three. Room was cramped and just about fitted three single beds. Shower handle was broken and a lot of the bathroom tiles cracked..Did give good range of shower gel. Area is quite central and a lot of cheap student buffets close by.

This hotel is half way between the city centre and the railway station. It has everything you need except free Wi-Fi which is unusual in this day and age . However we liked it here ,clean ,helpful staff very good breakfast, although the notice in the room about fining you if you brought any breakfast items up to your room... More

This is a great value place to stay in Bologna, that is comfortable and well located. The bathroom was one of the best that we had the entire trip - huge shower, lots of towels and generously sized. We had air con, a tv and a comfy bed. Wifi is not included, but the room rates were very affordable so... More

Stayed there 3-7 July 2015. I am tempted to de-rate this hotel so that next time I search for a Bologna hotel I find it available. A comfy accomodation in a quiet street in the city centre, just 2 corners away from the high shopping street, 5mins walk from the Friday/Saturday big market, 20mins walk from the train and bus...
