Threadbare tired rooms and surroundings, breakfast buffet poor due to not replenishing food or cups, if you go down to breakfast after 9, you'll have to wait for the slow service of replacing cups, cheese, ham etc Wouldn't stay again!

the room we stayed 311 had ripped and patched wall paper, old furniture,television set was disconnected , frigo bar empty and turned of ,old bathroom ,unfriendly staff, squeaky floors, smelt so sad. and overall was unpleasent, 245 euro is a real rip off

Hotel Palace has a unique, old world feel. As you enter, you see a check in desk straight out of the 1930's. They still use boxes for mail and keys for the doors (not cards or pass codes). Been there 1 night in december 2012. Location is the plus, situated in downotown. They also got an indoor garage (about 20€ per day). Price for single room + breakfast is conveniet = around 50eu. On the other side Hotel is very old and "vintage", but of course clean.

The hotel itself looks like it is an old hospital that was renoed in the 70's to become a hotel. Kinda scary. The room smelled like smoke/dog, however was clean otherwise. The staff were not very efficient, serving others who arrived after us, even despite our heavy luggage and apparent position in queue. Everything was just ok.
