Apartment is basic but large and all you need for a visit to Bologna. Great restaurants and shops steps away. Great host offered lots of local information and restaurant recommendations. Main room is sparse but provided a common area for spending with apartment mates.

We spent five nights at Residenza Ariosto, and were delighted with our accomodation! Right in the centre of the city, close to sights, enoteca and Coop. We arrived on a late flight and were greeted warmly by a lady who offered to book us a table at a nearby trattoria for a late dinner. Service was excellent. They made reservations... More

The pros: Andrea was very nice and accommodating. He actually upgraded our room for us. It was great having a washing machine in the unit. Even though it was small, it was nice to not waste hours sitting in a laundry mat. The bed was comfortable; and even though we didn't use the kitchen, it was well stocked with pots,... More

Tiziana was very accommodating to us and we enjoyed our stay for one night. She had all of the necessary kitchen items for us to make dinner for ourselves (less the food). The beds were comfortable, the apartment was spacious and there was a washer if you want to do laundry. It was a very pleasant stay.

Perfect location though in a noisy bar street) Spaciuos and clean. The only things that I didn't like besides the minibar as expensive as in 5 star hotels - broken shower knob in the tiny shower cabin, and that you must completely clean the kitchen after you or pay for the cleaning. If you're not standartized hotel network - better have... Great place to stay with friends or family, perfect location and very helpful staff: thank you Franco! Good price too. We loved Bologna and will travel there again, and book our studio at Residenza Ariosto.

I loved this place! I stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen for 3 nights and it was spacious and comfortable, clean and close to everything. However, the best part was the service from Franco... he is there to meet you, helps with your luggage then gives you some insight into the city and where you should... More

Our apartment number was 6. The room was on the first floor. There is a lift but it is small, maybe for two people. On our arrival the person at the desk carried our luggage up, and down on departure. He was friendly and helpful. The apartment is on a quiet street without a lot of foot or car traffic... More

Franco is a fantastic host, the apartment is spacious, clean and tidy with everything you need. We arrived early in the morning and Franco had our room ready for us. The apartment could not be in a better position for everything in Bologna. The perfect city break. We will definitely return and would stay at Franco's apartment. Franco spoke good... More

Residenza Ariosto was a great find - right in the centre of town, very clean and modern and Franco takes good care of you! The kitchen is kitted out if you fancy cooking up some fresh tortelloni yourself for dinner. All you could want!
