Good hotel, helpful staff. Good location, in car-free zone, so very quiet. Hotel can be reached by car. Staff will assist in parking car and afterwards provide authorities with your car registration number in order to avoid getting fined for driving in areas where this is otherwise not allowed. Nice restaurants nearby. WiFi in room works on,y close to door.

My partner and I arrived early July, left England with very good weather and arrived into even warmer climates! This hotel is not far from the airport. You should pay no more than Є20 for a taxi. We paid Є15 in fact in a very nice large taxi from the airport. Tip - this hotel requires access to little streets... More

We only had one night in Bologna due to flying in on our way to Tuscany but wish we had stayed longer (we did return for lunch on our way back) as much for the hotel. Fantastic central location, quirky but comfortable rooms - ours was dedicated to an Italian designer whose name I forget but we had plastic Lobsters... More

We booked 2 nights at the Cappello Rosso hotel and I believe that due to the fact that we were 3 in a room, they moved us to an apartment right next door which was fine. So this review is NOT for the hotel's rooms but for their rental apartment next door which are part of the hotel. The apartment... More

Very good quality small city centre hotel. On the doorstep of all tourist attractions, bars, restaurants. Complimentary use of hotel bikes was a nice touch. We were thankful that we dropped off our hire car before staying here as parking is really difficult.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our Italian adventure. Arriving after midnight we were greeted warmly & sank into comfy beds to wake refreshed & ready for our busy cultural day. Even though the location is a stone's throw from the Piazza Maggiore, it's incredibly tranquil.... Mainly due to cars being banned within the walls from... More

Each room has a different theme. We stayed in the typewriter room which was decorated in black, white and red. Large typewriter buttons were on the ceiling and a red typewriter ribbon ran around the room. The room was clean, we were given robes and slippers, and the wifi and air conditioning worked great. The hotel is in a great... More

We stayed for just one night, but the location could not have been better, and the desk staff could not have been more helpful. Decorated in a unique style, modern amenities and a great little breakfast too. A lively and comfortable hotel perfect for exploring Bologna's charms.

Everything about this hotel made it a lovely experience. We checked in very late after a long haul flight and a long layover - it was a few days off before business began and it was perfect. Despite arriving in the wee small hours we were greeted and made to feel welcome. The room was delightful and the amenities made... More

This hotel is located on a small street next to Piazza Maggiore. It takes around 15-20 minutes by walk to Bologna central train station. There are many restaurants & shops nearby. It's convenient to reach the popular tourist spots. Reception of the hotel is very helpful & willing to introduce where to go in Bologna. Room is spacious & comfortable.... More
