We stayed in the Al Cappello Rosso for 3 nights but wished we had booked to stay there for the duration of our holiday. The staff were very helpful indeed nothing was too much trouble for them. The room (we were in the one with the Lobsters) was just amazing, it had everything including a fridge which was fully stocked.... More

Wonderful hotel within walking distance to everything. The rooms are clean and large. The reception staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. Their recommendations for restaurants was very helpful. The breakfast is served in an adjoining cafe which is great. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed for 4 nights. Because we were a party of 3 for one of the nights, they gave us an apartment that was part of the hotel, near the hotel. The location is awesome, just a few steps from the Piazza Maggiore, the staff very friendly and helpful.

A gorgeous little boutique hotel, intimate and well aligned to the needs of visiting tourists. Extremely helpful staff, great location - I'm delighted -- I made a great choice for a getaway with my wife :o)

Stayed for one night. Would have loved to have stayed more. The staff were supper helpful with any questions. The room and hotel were clean. The location was exactly what we were looking for. Central. Close to an amazing square. Good bars and restaurants close by. Would recommend and stay again.

What a wonderful hotel! One of the most welcoming i think i've ever been in, the staff were pleasant, courteous and helpful from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left! We had 3 rooms booked, and all 3 were of a very high standard and 2 of the 3 were themed which was a lovely... More

Right in the heart of the Historic Area, the hotel is in walking distance to most everything. Wonderfully appointed, great AC (arrived during the mini-heat wave) with a staff that was more than accommodating (I arrived hours before check-in and was sent right to a room). It could be hard to find, and arriving by car could be an issue... More

Good hotel, helpful staff. Good location, in car-free zone, so very quiet. Hotel can be reached by car. Staff will assist in parking car and afterwards provide authorities with your car registration number in order to avoid getting fined for driving in areas where this is otherwise not allowed. Nice restaurants nearby. WiFi in room works on,y close to door.

My partner and I arrived early July, left England with very good weather and arrived into even warmer climates! This hotel is not far from the airport. You should pay no more than Є20 for a taxi. We paid Є15 in fact in a very nice large taxi from the airport. Tip - this hotel requires access to little streets... More

We only had one night in Bologna due to flying in on our way to Tuscany but wish we had stayed longer (we did return for lunch on our way back) as much for the hotel. Fantastic central location, quirky but comfortable rooms - ours was dedicated to an Italian designer whose name I forget but we had plastic Lobsters... More
