This small hotel is right in the centre of Bologna, three minutes walk from P. Maggiore. The staff were most pleasant and helpful. The room(standard) was big enough and the bed comfortable. The English will welcome tea making facilities! Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

We checked in last Wednesday April 9, 2015, after a car trip from Monterosso al Mare(5Terre) with a stop for lunch at a 3 star restaurant in Modena. Upon checking in, the front desk person, by the name of Antonella, was a bit rude, because I had to pare down a dinner reservation for that night for Osteria Bottega. Even... More

We had the Schiaparelli room which was decorated with themed touches, not huge but the mirrored wall made it feel larger and the bathroom was lovely. Bed very comfortable. A street view, noise was not a problem since we always take earplugs if we’re requesting a room at the front of a city centre hotel! Two minutes’ walk from the... More

The hotel is well situated but really its more than location. I was there at probably the busiest time of the year and arrived very eraly from Hong Kong. The receprion staff were charming and helpful. There was a lounge (more of a living room) to wait and use the wifi and shower if I wish. The bag was taken... More

We stayed here two nights on a quick getaway. The location could not be better. right in the middle of everything. The room was clean, comfortable and well decorated. The bathroom followed suit. The breakfast in the small restaurant was sufficient and acceptable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone if the price was right.

A very pleasant 3 night stay in this smart, clean and well run hotel. It's perfectly located for all the historical attractions, coffee bars and restaurants in a quiet street just off the square. Would stay again and recommend.

Our stay in Bologna was the final point of the journey through the North Italy. And it was absolutely excellent choice, like the final accord in Italian music. The hotel is placed in the very heart of the medieval part of Bologna in the very silent small street, but just on the corner there is beautiful Square with the excellent... More

We can only confirm the positive reviews. Since very sensitive to noise, our main thing is peace and quiet, and the hotel delivered. Central yet secluded; our room on the fourth floor was a little oasis. Extra fun - books left behind by previous visitors, a menu of pillows, and a reasonably priced restaurant in the hotel, with good quality... More

Wow!!! I stayed one night at Al Cappello Rosso in Bologna. It is located in the very heart of the town, just a minute from the main square. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and professional. The rooms are beautiful, elegant and very well furnished. I stayed only one night but I had everything. The bed was so... More

This turned out to be a surprising find in the heart of Bologna. While the room was a bit "mod" for my taste, it was extremely large and comfortable. Our beautiful bathroom had a great rooftop view. We left the window open to hear the bells of the city chiming. Beds were off the chart comfy. Now, the breakfast room... More
