Starhotel Excelsior was a very comfortable place to stay in Bologna. It was conveniently located across the street from the train station. We arrived early afternoon and our room was ready. We stayed here Saturday and Sunday nights. Arrived from airport on overcrowded bus but it arrives just outside the railway station. You just walk across the road to the hotel. Excellent location, modern hotel. Check in was very simple and the room was quiet and clean. It's just a short walk from the main shopping district of Bologna and right across the street from the train station. I would definately stay there again. more
