Stayed in this hotel last week with 2 couples for leisure. Looks futuristic from the outside, whereas the rooms are quite pleasantly traditional. Rooms acceptable size for a city hotel with a nice bathroom (bath/shower) and quiet. Airco does stop when desired temperature is reached and has to be switched on again manually. 15 mins to Bologna airport and centre... More

We booked a hotel in Bologna but was unaware that the area was 200kms away from the train station we arrived at. Starting from the taxi driver who took it on himself to make sure we had a room before he left us, to the receptionist on the desk who could not be more lovely when she provided us with... More

This best western is north of the station on the route out to the airport. We walked into the centre and back twice although there are regular bus services stopping outside. One night we ate at a local restaurant just off the square and had a fine italian meal at a a good price without all the hassle of getting... More

Bologna was a boring city but this hotel made it better for us. Good staff. Clean and large rooms and bathrooms. Clean and comfortable beds. Good wifi . kind staffs and good breakfast. I really suggest it!

I traveled with my husband on a business trip to Balogna. We were extremely pleased with the hotel. Simona, at the front desk went beyond our expectations in assisting us with all our needs. Geovonie, our bartender each night was wonderful after a long day of business as well as sightseeing. All the staff we encountered spoke English which was... More

It was some years since we stayed in the BW City in Bologna and we remembered it as a friendly, comfortable hotel. We arrived from the central rail station and walked about 15 minutes to the hotel - fairly easy to find. The hotel is on a side street in a good area and our room was a decent size... More

When touring around Italy by car it is wise to remember that city centres are frequently pedestrians only and often accessed by convoluted one-way systems. This hotel is mid way between centre and outskirts and boasts an underground car park making it perfect for our purposes. As it is primarily a business hotel during the week, I got our weekend... Basicly it's ok for a business Trip over one or two nights. I had a really small room and the television doesn't worked at all. the internet / wi-fi is really slow and to work or watch a movie online, really not that easy. The Reception and everthing else it's pretty ok, but nothing to top here.

Very high quality room and bathroom at low price. I stayed one night when on route to Ancona. They had secure free parking, free wi if and the room including breakfast was only 68 euros. Very polite staff. Restaurant was only average and slightly overpriced so I would recommend staying here but eating out instead.

We traveled to Bologna on a holiday weekend so we were unable to get a hotel closer to the center of town. This was an inconvenience since Bologna is small and walkable and we did not have a car as we arrived by train. For business, it might be acceptable but for touring the distance from the center meant relying... More
