The best hotel I have ever stayed in - not cheap but worth every Euro as it was opposite one of the grandest churches I have ever seen. more

Stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. Great old-world elegance. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Piazza Maggiore. We stayed in the Junior Suite, and it is extremely spacious, with a great balcony. The service from all the staff was excellent; the concierge, Fabio, was particularly helpful with his recommendations. I would definitely return, without hesitation. more

Stayed 3 nights. Got upgraded to junior suite as part of Amex Fine Hotels program. Very elegant decor. Awesome location. Right in the middle of everything. Great for walking around. Good breakfast. Was not impressed with their restaurant for dinner. Al Papagallo close by was much better. Had a really hard time with the central room temperature adjustment. Could not... more

Dear guest, Why should a luxury hotel ask his clients to pay for something that has become integral part of each one's life like the internet? doesn't this go far way from the concept of hospitality? we think it does too much. luca Magni Senior Vice president Baglioni Hotels

Great rooms, perfect location ! I love the hotel. This is the second time we have been to Grand Hotel Baglioni and had a Deluxe Room. There´s nothing else to say - stay there: it´s a special place in a beautifull town. And go to the breakfast (even if it is quite expensive): it´s great. One small negative thing: the... more

I find this hotel difficult to assesss. Facts are: - hotel is very very tired in terms of furnishing and public areas - staff are charming - I paid €340 for a largish room but it was decorated (lavishly) 30+ years ago and showed it - location is very central in the city I find so often with high-end Italian... more

We stayed two nights at this over-rated hotel. The location is excellent and the room decor is sensational, but that's it. Our room and bathroom were very small although we had a deluxe room. The air conditioning did not work. The breakfast buffet was pedestrian and the service almost non-existent. We were told by our TA that this was one... more

20-Oct-08 Just back from a two night stay in the Grand Hotel Baglioni. We were a little concerned after reading some of the negative reviews but we need not have worried. This is a beautiful hotel that is well worth its five stars. On arrival we were informed by the very polite and helpful check in staff, that they had... more

We stayed for two nights in one of the junior suites. This is an expensive hotel which does not live up to its five star standards.(And the price it charges) I would give it a 3.5 or a 4. Positives: Excellent staff and concierge who gave us great recommendations for restaurants. Check in and check out very smooth. Waiters at... more
