The position of the B&B is excellent - just a short walk from the centre of Bologna. The building is charming, the rooms interesting for dimensions and decor, the standard of cleanliness first class. I find that however good a building is it's only half of a winning formula, the other half being "do I feel good here?"/"Am I being well looked after?" - and in this respect Antica Casa Zucchini really is first class. The lady of the house (Ilaria) knows how to make you feel welcome without being careless/negligent or too much/in your face. Her tip for a local restaurant - the Leonida - was wonderful.... The only negative thing I would say about Bologna is that it's quite expensive but otherwise - an excellent experience - we would go again more
