A business hotel. Shabby and some distance from interesting areas. Do not stay in room 116! It is a large room with large bathroom but at the head of the bed the waste water pipes are in the cavity wall. When rooms above flush their toilets or have showers the sound of water cascading down the pipes will wake you.... More

Except the distance to the centre it is excellent! Large rooms, nice bathrooms, and quiet place during the day and the nights. Good breakfast and very attracting restaurant. The most convenient place to the central station and also for airport connection.

Though the public rooms were ok, the bedroom I had was depressing and tired and needed a make over. The walls were scuffed, the carpet needed cleaning with a burn mark, the wall paper just starting to peel in a few places. The throw on the bed had a nasty stain and the pillows were very lumpy and needed changing. The... More

It is fine if you get a remodeled room. The others are truly very dreary and depressing. Overall the hotel is clean and in a good location to many restaurants, shopping and the train. I have stayed several times on business and always ask for updated rooms .. also, if you need to iron any clothing, they don't have an... More

Reception and reception areas very clean. Room 120 nice view overlooking piazza was very dirty - didn't walk around barefoot, stains on carpet, dirty curtains, stains on walls - could do with a good clean and vacuuming. As could the carpets on the corridors. Beds and Bathroom clean, lots of towels with lovely products. Good soundproofing as didn't hear the... More

Our experience of staying a few nights here seems to differ from others. We had a spacious room on the first floor with a good bathroom and comfortable beds. The décor was in good order, not a la mode but unfussy and clean. Although overlooking a busy piazza, with the window shut the room was very quiet. The hotel is... More

Stayed for five days in May 2014, on business trip. The conference rooms were ok, dated but ok. Rooms - first I stayed at a normal room on 2nd floor. The room was not clean, when I went to close the curtain, dust fell everywhere. I also moved the tv and it was filled with filth under. Bathroom more clean,... More

This is a pretty poor hotel. Especially for the price that you are charged. I have stayed here 3 times (not out of choice!) and have not found anything to recommend this place. The interior does not look like it has been refurbished within my lifetime, the bathrooms are old, the ceilings have water stains on them. The internet is... More

We just spent the weekend in Bologna. I can't agree with the other reviews. The interior of our room was very new and modern. It was, however, on the top floor (4th floor) and that floor looked newer than the other three. So perhaps worth asking for a room on the fourth floor. Staff were nice and very child-friendly. Parking... More

Totally agree with Journeyman 29, almost word for word, if not quite sbh858 In fact the situation is very convenient for the stations (bus and train) and just WITHIN the old city walls, so a nice walk to the centre, but basically geared to the convention trade. The public areas are modern and functional, the breakfast standard if bedlam at... More
