Stayed few days on a business trip in this hotel, the building seemed to be one of the nicest in the neighbourhood. Room and bed spacious. All working including the internet. The biggest disappointement was the breakfast with very small choice and no eggs and vegetables at all for example. Would highly recommend to improve the choice adding more types... More

Stayed overnight for a wedding in Campobasso. The room appeared decent upon entering, but as I went through the room at 1am upon my return, I noticed it was dirty. It appears it has not been cleaned in a very long time: bed cover was stained; mold in the shower; webs in the corner behind the door; dust on the... More

We were visiting family in Campobasso, and stayed here for 2 nights. It has been our second time in this hotel and our experience has been very good. Travelers must understand that Campobasso is not a tourist center, so the staff is only fluent in Italian. However, they are very helpful and do the utmost so the guest feels comfortable.... More

Came here to trace our family roots in nearby Monacilioni after weeklong tour of Italy (here from Dallas). Rooms were nice and large with a lot of outlets and, unlike our city hotels, had a bathroom counter large enough to spread out on. Staff didn't speak english but was friendly and we could get by just fine. It is also... More

At the last minute, we had to find a place to stay in Campobasso. The staff at the hotel were terrific -- pleasant and helpful, especially given our poor Italian language skills. The breakfast (included) was also a bright spot. It's unfortunate that the rooms were so basic (especially for the price). They were clean but worn and tired with... More

Up in the mountains is the small town of Campobasso. Beautiful views abound if the town is a little busy and in places scruffy The hotel St Giorgio has lovely big rooms limited international tv but the news channels are all there. NO GYM which in this day I just dont get The breakfast is great traditional Italian style but... More

After a disastrous stay in Campobasso's other four-star hotel, I was thrilled with the San Giorgio. I don't agree that it was a strictly business hotel, as the staff was very warm and hospitable, not just professional and all business like. The clientele was diverse -- I was there to research family in Lucito -- and felt like I was... More

Campobasso is hardly a tourist gem so not surprisingly this hotel has a bit of a "business" feel to it. But it is very clean and rooms are large (by European sandards) and clean. And although staff does have limited English language ability they are most helpful. Worked with me and my broken tourist Italian to arrange a tour guide... More

The Hotel San Giorgio is a strictly business hotel in Campobasso. One might only go to Campobasso to find your Italian family heritage/hometowns, which we did. On the positive side, our room was very clean and of a decent size. The bathroom was well appointed, though the shower made a noise like it was being squeezed to death. Check in... More
