Excellent breakfast. Renovated to modern standards, but not luxurious or or old-world charming. That's fine by me, as Urbino has lots to offer and the hotel offers excellent value. Although an antique room can have its charms, I find they usually charge more than I think they're worth: give me function first.

Greeted by helpful staff.Clean, spacious comfortable room with delightful views, the breakfast was more than adequate. Yes, it lacks Italian authenticity, but this has to be balanced against good value for money and the convenience of being in the heart of this beautiful city. Would definitely recommend it. You are able to park outside the hotel for arrival and departure and free... More

Pro: quiet room with little balcony overlooking the medieval rooftops, very good position in the heart of the old city center, parking nearby and free Con: lack of authenticity and decoration, irrelevant stuff, poor breakfast

The staff are very kind, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are clean. Lots of high pressure hot water in the bathroom. The breakfast is very good. The price is very good. Many have said the hotel is modern and bland; well so it is, but so what. We came to visit the town and countryside, not the hotel. For me,... More

Urbino is a hidden gem of a town which hasn't (yet) been spoiled by mass tourism - think a little version of Florence nestled in the beautiful Italian hills. Given the size of the town there is not a huge choice in the way of hotels, but you could do a lot worse than stay a night or two here.... More

The staff was most gracious, helpful and caring. Location is excellent. Breakfasts are outstanding. Highly recommend the hotel. Parking at the lower garage worked out well with the elevator to the top of the center of the city, .50 euros per person for up and then for down. Dr. Daniel Stabile, Falls church, VA 22046

As others have noted, the location is very good, right around the corner from the main piazza. Our room had a lovely view of the countryside and a small balcony. I would ask for a room in the back as the piazza is lively at night. Very blah modern building, no charm for such a charming town.

The hotel was very conveniently situated. It was clean, cheap but lacked any extras. The breakfast was fairly good. We had just come from a very charming hotel in Gubbio so it was hard not to make a comparison. However although tis hotel lacked charm it was adequate.

Good, convenient hotel. Stayed 2 nights in twin room. Good bathroom. Nice breakfasts (especially the pastries). Good terrace with outlook over rooftops and out to countryside. Modern decor, so do not expect carpets, tapestries or "classic" furniture.

Very well located, but devoid of any charm or character whatsoever. Clean and functional, like a youth hostel or student accommodation, and cheap - but rooms are small and boxy and don't even have mass-produced prints on the walls. No tea and coffee-making facilities in our room. You can almost certainly do better.
