After a day trip I finally got to rest at the Hotel Mamiani. I found the staff very warm and welcoming: they have young people always willing to help you with any kind of problems. I stayed in a deluxe room with panoramic view. The room is simple but it suits perfectly the environment. The linen sheets are very comfortable.... More

Wow! That's all I can say about Mamiani Hotel and Spa! From the moment I stepped into the doors until the time I left everything was wonderful! They definitely have the best customer service around! The spa experience was simply incredible. I received an 60 minute Meiso Schiatsu massage from John, and it was hands down the best massage I... More

Relied on Tripadvisor reviews or book this hotel and it was awful. Pros: free parking at hotel, beautiful view from the room, comfortable bed. Cons: unhelpful, unfriendly staff (no Wifi or breakfast info given), restaurant closed Wednesdays and long way to other restaurants, noise from hall and outside intrusive (we were above the reception entrance although we asked for a... Le Marche is one of the most beautiful regions of Italy and Urbino is a beautiful town to visit. I went there years ago, following hard on the heels of Molly Pargeter in John Mortimer's cracking novel "Summer Lease". He ends up visiting the Palazzo Ducale in Urbino to see Piero Della Francesca's "Flagellation of Christ" what Molly describe's as... More

We booked a standard hotel for 3 nights in September at this hotel in the area of Urbino. Having seen the standard room we decided to go for the upgrade to the superior room that was about 30 euros per night more expensive. The standard room was rather disappointing, since its deteriorated state and small size. For this upgrade you... More

This hotel is easy to find, set just outside the city with parking and a regular bus service in to Urbino which drops you off in the centre. Simple clean rooms and we even got a bathtub which is rare in Italy. There is a spa facility which costs extra but we have used the hotel on a couple of... More

The hotel is located a few km's away from Urbino and you can hop on a public bus to go into town every 20 min (and every hour after 8pm) which has a stop right next to the hotel if you don't feel like driving into town. Be careful after 8pm as the pickup point from old town will be... More

I had the great fortune to stay at the Mamiani Hotel Urbino for almost three weeks in July of 2014. The staff was always welcoming and accommodating, and I felt I had found a home away from home during my stay. Each morning I was greeted with an artfully prepared cappuccino, and a beautiful breakfast buffet that offered enough to... More
