Quiet and comfortable. Very basic hotel, but ideal for working in Ancona. Breakfast could be better!
I picked this hotel from the Trip Advisor reviews & because of it's proximity to the Railway station (and therefore convenience for the Airport), and found that I had struck gold! The room was comfortable (a bit basic, but at the low price, what do you expect) and spotlessly clean, especially the bathroom, which was better equiped than many more...

I stayed only one night there, but my first impression was quite good: staff was very friendly to me, they were really sorry that they couldn't allow late check-out to me, because the hotel was fully booked. Room and bathroom were well maintained, spotlessly clean. Wi-fi was free and working decently. Continental breakfast was surprisingly good, not only toast, butter...

This was a one nighter before travelling on to Greece by ferry. Average rooms, clean, good breakfast. Quiet enough for a good night sleep. Friendly staff directed us to a good restaurant down the street, La Taratgua I think. If you have time consider a walk from the hotel by turning right out the entrance and then up the hill...

I stayed at the Hotel Fortuna because it's accross the train station. I was given a room on the first floor that faced the back of the building where there were building works. The smell of the room was quite bad...it smell like mould, or like the window hadn't been opened in a while. The TV reception was very poor....

We stayed in this Hotel for two nights and found it to be in a reasonable location. The bus stops outside the hotel and main railway station, it is about half an hour walk to the historic centre or you can catch a bus outside the hotel. The breakfast is buffet style with a reasonable selection and the staff very...

It was absolutely, totally dirty! The sheets were dirty, the room was dirty, the toilet was dirty. The management was terrible. The chairs in the cafeteria were the breakfast was served were disgustiing. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
This hotel is perfect if you are using Ancona as a base, because it is directly opposite Ancona Railway station. If you intend staying in Ancona more than a couple of days...
a) You will be bored
b) Find a hotel nearer the centre. Its a good 30 minute walk!
The hotel itself pretty ordinary. It was built in 1914...

My fiancé and I stay there during the summer and this is what we found. We don’t recommend it.
Highlights
-Near to train station
-Near to rent a car companies, if they are open – in Ancona you never know.
Lowlights
- Smell: it’s difficult to understand why management doesn`t do something about. The room smells really bad.
- Bed:...

Doesn't look anything like the picture, and after we got off the ferry from Croatia at 10pm at night we almost missed it as none of the outside lights are on (unlike their web site). I am glad we only stayed there the one night, I wouldn't say it was the cleanest place I have ever stayed, there was a...
