My partner and me had an amazing weekend in that beautiful hotel. We enjoyed the amazing view from the terrace. The hotel was clean, situated in the heart of the city centre, free tasty breakfast, affordable price and very friendly and professional staff- Thank you!

The old palace, despite a little and discret entrance, is very well located in Ancona as it is in front of the port, down the pedestrian streets and 3 min from the archeological center (with the archeologic museum - accessible by a free public lift around the buiding). The restaurant is closed but the breakfast is served at the top... More

Grand Hotels sometimes are linked to a past that does not necessarily means left behind... The feeling is that the time has stopped within these walls. A little bit of touch ups might help, especially with the price per room. Amenities in the rooms should be improved for a 4 stars Hotel. Overall a professional Team around, helpful and efficient.

Good location by the sea. Walking distance down to the citycenter - where you can find many restaurants. (Many were closed during our stay in august due to vacation). A nice room and hotel, okey beds. We had a doubleroom, no balcony. The room laid towards a somewhat bigger road - nothing that disturbed us during our stay. Okey breakfast... More

Grand Hotel Palace in Ancona is situated in front of the port. It is a very cozy hotel with nice big rooms. The breakfast room is situated in the last floor and it offers a very nice view of the sea and the seaport. Breakfast was not really very rich but the staff was nice. the position of the hotel is... More

i am staying at the Grand Hotel Palace as i write. I am here in Ancona for a short business trip and a lone female traveller. The hotel is an absolute gem, elegant and classical. The gentlemen who staff the reception desk are true gentlemen, kind and gracious, welcoming but in a quiet unassuming (not pushy) way, nothing is too... More

I stayed here with my son in May 2014 for one night prior to sailing on the MSC Armonia. We arrived late about 11pm after a Ryanair flight from Stansted to Ancona. Taxi fare from Ancona airport to hotel was 45 euros. No bus available that time of night. We had requested a room with two beds and the first... More

Four stars? Maybe in 1960, but from that year they did not change anything. Location is good, but choose room on the south, north is like sleeping in engine room of the ships in port. Better to skip this place, rooms and beds are too small, everything is old and overused, breakfast is limited to few sweet bakery products.

I have been going to this hotel for many years because I work with a company in Ancona and it's covenient. It is a shabby hotel with run-down rooms and a strange old-fashioned feel. Last time I was there I had an awful experience with some dirty underwear that had been left in my wardrobe but I must say the... More

I love this little hotel! The lift is so small I could only just fit myself, my suitcase and my travel companion in it! All the staff were super friendly, the view is lovely out onto the sea and the breakfast is just the best! I stayed here in 2011 on a business trip and enjoyed every minute. I shall... More
