Stopped here overnight before catching ferry from Ancona. Time of year meant hardly anyone there and restaurant shut in the evening however the room, our hosts and breakfast were lovely. Would have loved a day relaxing with a book and several coffees but unfortunately had to move on. A Gem, nice place to kick back in the winter and excellent... More

Found this hotel on trip advisor and decided to chance getting a room while we were visiting the commonwealth war cemetery at Ancona. We were not disappointed in any way. True, it is not the most modern hotel but the location, service and food far outweigh the use of a gym, pool or other sleek facilities. Dinner was the best... More

We booked this hotel by error - not realizing that it was not in or even close to the center of Ancona. However, that being said, it is a lovely hotel high in the hills overlooking the water and beautiful gardens. The rooms are small - only 1 pillow per person and the bathroom was tiny with not enough light.... More

The setting is what this hotel is it all about. Yes it can be literally a pain to access but like all things in life "no gain without pain", it is worth the effort. This peninsular in terms of landscape and terrain, defies all that has gone before it. It comes as a very welcome relief to the ugly railway... More

Not too easy to find, up a steep and winding access road, this former Youth Hostel has a superb and commanding position in deep green woodland overlooking the sea. The family owners have maintained a rustic charm and most rooms have sea views and are reasonably well appointed. Our room (4) was warm, comfortable, clean and mostly quiet. We had... More

Hotel Internazionale is in terms of rooms not really exceptional: the rooms are convenient, though decorated in a quite old-fashioned way. Your first impression might be a bit disappointing, but they have though everything you need: airco, small but convenient bathroom, etc. What is however absolutely sensational about this hotel is the following: - the view you have from your... One of the nicest located hotels I ever tried, on the bay of Portonovo, with stunning view. And marvelously quiet. Confortable rooms, nice private & shared terraces with view, delicious restaurant, welcoming service. Bravo. Wonderful.
