Really nice hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Great location, not far from the Spanish steps. All other attractions were within walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast was included and was very nice. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Would definately recommend the hotel and would stay here again if I ever return to Rome.

Nice place, great location and really helpful staff. I'm glad to have chosen this small and warm hotel full of positive energy. We will come back soon for sure and we will ask for the same gorgeous room ;-)

“Hotel Centrale” has the perfect location, right in the very center of Rome, between via del Corso and via del Babuino, very kind and helpful staff, nice and worm atmosphere. We’ll definitely stay at this hotel again during our next visit to Rome. It’s worth of money.

the guys at the front desk were so helpful and gave us interesting local tips for a more informed and non-touristy experience , their names are Jacopo and Franco, the access to local historic landmarks and fantastic restaurants was also unbelievable as well as not being located on a busy main road

Our trip to Rome began on Mar 4, 2015. The first few days were business and we stayed at the Intercontinental near the Piazza de Spagna. When business concluded we moved to the Hotel Centrale (not far away) on March 8 for leisure and departed March 13. The hotel is small, charming with wonderful friendly staff. It is conveniently located... More

A lovely and intimate hotel in the very centre of Rome, a stone's throw from Piazza di Spagna and the metrò, with friendly, courteous and attentive staff. The rooms are very clean and breakfast is just what I require. Altogether worth it for the good price. I hope to return soon. P.S. The only small problem (though it may be... More

If you want to stay at a sweet hotel with wonderful staff and a fabulous location, near Spanish Steps, Via Margutta, and Via Corso, choose Hotel Centrale! I have been twice. Traveling alone, it is nice to have staff available 24/7 to help and advise. The breakfast has delicious hams, cheeses, and great coffee. The waitress offers to make specialty... More

This hotel has a great location, near the Plaza de Popolo, Flamino subway stop, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain with lots of good restaurants nearby. The room was very quiet at night, with a large bathroom. The bed and pillows were not particularly comfortable and the breakfasts were not exciting (other than delicious pear juice). The staff were particularly helpful... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
