We chose to stay at Hotel Centrale in April 2015 after a previous stay in 2007 booked by a travel agent.. We loved the convenient location, the friendly and helpful staff, the great breakfast, and the terrace included with our room. We had a small problem with the toilet on arrival and the staff corrected it almost immediately. We would... More

Really great hotel in the heart of Rome. Close to everything - Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, Colesso, Pantheon, all attractions. Our room was very comfortable and very European, large bathroom with a bath:) Number 28 was not the largest the hotel had to offer as David pointed out on arrival however it was spacious enough. 3 of us stayed for... Really nice hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Great location, not far from the Spanish steps. All other attractions were within walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast was included and was very nice. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Would definately recommend the hotel and would stay here again if I ever return to Rome.

“Hotel Centrale” has the perfect location, right in the very center of Rome, between via del Corso and via del Babuino, very kind and helpful staff, nice and worm atmosphere. We’ll definitely stay at this hotel again during our next visit to Rome. It’s worth of money.

the guys at the front desk were so helpful and gave us interesting local tips for a more informed and non-touristy experience , their names are Jacopo and Franco, the access to local historic landmarks and fantastic restaurants was also unbelievable as well as not being located on a busy main road

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
