The location is great, all sights can be reached on foot. The room was quite cosy, the bathroom was clean. The thing I hated was the breakfast. It was too simple for the price we paid. Also WiFi is not working. :(

I'm sorry to say i didn't like the esperience in this b&b, except for the location (very close to Termini station,2' walking).. The price is overrated, 120€ for a double room, one night, that was't anything special and smelled of smoke. The bathroom is clean but small, the bed and the pillows aren't comfortable at all, only one light on... More

This place is NOT worth it considering how rude the front desk was to us. Please read on. This was out first hotel in Italy while we were on out honeymoon. The gentleman who checked us in was nice but didn't offer us any help as we struggled with the lock on the door. The room was pretty clean and... More

Just a few blocks from Termini and 2 blocks from another metro stop, the location is great. And the place has some old-world class, is clean and the room and bathroom were fairly spacious. Nice staff, although we only met Angelo, the owner, on arrival; the other days and evenings (4) were staffed by a nice fellow who lives at... More

We stayed there last week for 5 nights; It was a little bit difficult to locate the place at first, since it's off Termini station (about 5 blocks or so) .The rooms are nice, big, and clean. The bathroom is also good. The area is noisy, but the windows have a sort of a cover which makes the whole thing tolerable, although not sound proof. Breakfast is... More

Found this B&B on RomeBy.com and was a bit apprehensive about booking it for three nights. Arrived and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice, with an en-suite bath, and your breakfast is brought to your room every day. Staff does not speak a ton of English, but communication was not a problem. One convenient aspect is that it... More

My mother and I went for a weekend in Rome and stayed in this cute BnB! For 50 Euro we had a double room with an insuite washroom. The room was very spacious with a big wardrobe and a breakfast area. It was very clean. The owner was very nice and helped us with directions. We were a 5 minute... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
