Me and my boyfriend decided to plan a trip to rome and we stayed for a week. We arrived at night and found it very difficult to find in the dark so we ended up getting a taxi. On arrival a woman came to see us and gave us our keys and answered any questions we had. CONS: There is... More

We just had 7 night in this amazing place. Location is ok , 12 min from the tram station, from there it takes 15 min to Piazza Venezia by tram... Good access to trastevere station only 1 tram station distance, from there good conection with bus lines. Close to the Quatroo Venti station only 12 min walk, from there it's... More

This accommodation made us not coming to Rome anymore. It is not of B & B Nice Room itself but about their totally unprofessional attitude. Firstly, very close before departure they sent us a mail that our private WC is broken, thus we gotta go to another B & B, where they reserved us the accommodation with shared bathroom for... More

My husband and I booked a private room with bathroom and balcony at Rome Nice Room. Our private bathroom was down the hall, not in or near our room. We were never told this when we booked the room. The bathroom was also being used by the other rooms (there are two shared bathrooms), so when we arrived and said... More

Despite having booked the room months in advance and having all the documentation, when we arrived they said they didn't have a record of our reservation. The girl who was working called the owner who claimed that the reservation was cancelled on the same day as the booking because my card was not working and that I was sent an... More

This location was very convenient for us as we were visiting our daughter, who was attending the American University of Rome. This also put us within walking distance of Trastavere and Villa Doria Pamphili park. We were only a 10-minute walk from the Tram and bus stops, which took us to all of the Rome attractions we wanted to see.... More

Staying in Monteverde

Neighborhood Profile
Monteverde
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighborhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centerpiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the center to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
