Terrible rip off of a place. Do not stay here this guy is never their when you check in because it's not really a hotel. He will not speak to you once you check in. The bathroom leaks water all over the floor from the shower, he does nothing. I can not stress enough that this guy is a thief... More

My boyfriend, my two friends and myself stayed here in September. It was a very nice little place. Had air conditioning, good size rooms, comfortable beds, small kitchen and only one bathroom. But seeing as it was just us staying there and we are all friends it didn't really bother us. It was a bit away from the main attraction... More

We visited Rome in September, the apartment was what we (two couples) wanted. The lady who met us was helpful, beds were comfy, the apartment was clean although there were bits and pieces like bread left from other travelers. The apartment were that it was slightly further from the attractions than I would have liked, but the transport links compensated... More

No reception, it was an apartment where the owner didn't live, and the bell rang loudly in the rooms, so as some guests arrived early and owner was late, we were woken up by incredibly annoying and long noice. Owner was friendly and helpful though.

Me and my boyfriend decided to plan a trip to rome and we stayed for a week. We arrived at night and found it very difficult to find in the dark so we ended up getting a taxi. On arrival a woman came to see us and gave us our keys and answered any questions we had. CONS: There is... More

Good access to trastevere station only 1 tram station distance, from there good conection with bus lines. Close to the Quatroo Venti station only 12 min walk, from there it's... More

This accommodation made us not coming to Rome anymore. It is not of B & B Nice Room itself but about their totally unprofessional attitude. Firstly, very close before departure they sent us a mail that our private WC is broken, thus we gotta go to another B & B, where they reserved us the accommodation with shared bathroom for... More

Was in an apartment complex. Very quiet neighborhood. Price was fair. Room small, but more like a bed and breakfast.. Clean.. Could have had mor than packaged danish for the free continental breakfast, but overall good value! Very nice guy who owns it!! Would recommend!

Staying in Monteverde

Neighborhood Profile
Monteverde
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighborhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centerpiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the center to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
