Not only did we get a great room that overlooks Plaza Navona which is so great with the people walking by and music playing but the hotel owner saved our trip. When we arrived to Rome we were traveling from Asia and our bank accounts were comprised. Our bank back in the US wasn't opened for several hours and she... More

This little hotel is quaint and sophisticated. Located right in the middle of Piazza Novana and walking distance from all the historic sites. The room is tidy and basic but boasts from little extras like the free Nespresso coffee machine in the lobby, complimentary bottled water every morning and slippers. Every morning you also receive a coupon for free breakfast... More

I'm a frequent traveller to rome and I recently stayed in Relais Navona for a week in September 2014 whilst attending a conference. I have to travel a fair amount with work and have always found the trip advisor reviews to be extremely useful. This was my first bad experience. I booked the hotel through one of the websites booking.com,... More

Stayed in room 2 overlooking the piazza, really fab location and excellently placed for sightseeing. Made me feel like a local, casually sauntering up to the wooden entrance door right between two restaurants! Book it - you won't be disappointed!

Relais Navona71 is located on the bustling and historic Piazza Navona. But dont worry, its not too noisy at night. I visited in the summer and slept soundly with the windows open as it was quite breezy. As a first-time visitor in Rome, I feel that this hotel and its location sums up the fine atmosphere of Rome. It is... More

We happened upon this gem accidentally and were so pleased that we found it. The location is unbeatable and we were lucky to stay in the large room overlooking Piazza Navona with our two teenage/adult kids. The room was comfortable for sleeping and getting ready to head out, and Giovanni was very accommodating. He even came out to meet our... More

Booked this place based on reviews and the promise of a room overlooking Piazza Navona. I am so glad the previous reviews warn you of the entrance as that would have made me very nervous. What's great about it though, is that you literally walk out the door and you are in the piazza by Neptunes Fountain. We booked the... More

This place was great. Hidden door between two restaurants then up a flight of stairs. VERY secure, immaculate and Giovanni was fantastic. When you first get into the Piazza (you can drive you car, you have to walk or get dropped off ourside th piazza and walk only 100 meters. You will see #71 nestled between two restaurants. Don't get... More

Relais Navona71 is situated overlooking the beautiful Piazza Navona and perfectly placed for exploring Rome, being a 15-20 minute walk from the Vatican City, a 20-25 minute walk to the Colosseum and Forum and a short distance from the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. Relais Navona71 is similar to a small hotel / bed and breakfast in the UK, comprising... More

This location is fantastic, everyone needs to stay in the hustle and bustle of Rome at least once! If I was to visit Rome again, I would definitely stay somewhere a bit more quiet. Having said that, it was great to see all the action from the bedroom window. The room was exceptionally small! but the views were fantastic. Strolling... More

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals.
