Booked Room 5 here for 2 nights. You enter through a decrepit-looking door on the Piazza, traverse a dangerous-looking hallway with a clinking metal grate, go up a dank flight of stairs, and you are in an airy, modern space. Reservation form said "View of Inner Courtyard". Sounds pleasant, right? Well, the so-called "inner courtyard" is actually a dingy mechanical... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here last April. We knew prior to arriving, that there was construction and a limited view. We did not stay her for the view. We loved everything else about Navona71. The rooms are updated and very clean. The staff was hospitable, coffee was always available and the cafe for breakfast was great. We stayed here... More

Dark, dingy, smelly. The owner, Rafaella, is very nice but not around much. The construction work begins at the crack of dawn, with no possible view of outside. HOWEVER, the Piazza Navona area is splendid. Everything you need (shops, gelato, restaurants, etc) are virtually right outside your door. If your the type of traveler who stays out most of the... Spent 3 nights here mid-November 2011. Excellent location, clean rooms, friendly owner BUT ... you can't actually enjoy the location as you can't see out the windows!!! Workers started at 07:30 a.m. which disturbed any idea of a lie-in so don't go for this place if you're after a relaxing, lazy holiday!!! Entry to the hotel looks quite nasty but... More

Yes, the first impression was horrible - the dark dingy entrance - the many steps with suitcases, the nasty mop bucket in the entry way -- and of course the scaffolding up the front of the building, interferred with the view -- BUT -- PERFECT LOCATION! Also, the room was clean, and they offered to change towels everyday if we... More

We spent two nights in this place. Sure the piazza is hopping with activity but you cannot see out of the windows so why would you pay that kind of money? You open the front door of the building into a greasy dark dungeon with the working kitchen of the adjoining restaurant in the lobby! They do not supply shampoo... More

Navona 71 is in the heart of Rome. All of Rome's attractions are at walking distance. All Rooms have a contemporary design with red accents. The bathroom is tiny... However, the location makes up for it. Piazza Navona is always bustling with activity.. Quite a sight!!. Great restaurants close by as well. Try out Insalata Ricca and Cul de Sac... More

You are in the middle of the Piazza Navona, so as far as being at the heart of this historic part of Rome you can't do better. Warm and friendly reception, and Raffaella was very helpful. The room was modern and cheerful. The only thing we did not expect was that the whole building is under scaffolding, as they are... More

We stayed here for just one night before leaving Rome for the rest of our trip in Italy, after staying at the Hotel Lancelot near the Colosseum. I didn't mind the move, since it allowed us the chance to explore a different area of town a little better. Piazza Navona is so full of energy and vibrancy that I'm glad... More
