My flight was delayed coming from London by 2 hours so I showed up at 11:30, still within the check-in hours. No one was there to let me in so I tried calling the phone numbers listed on the reservation, no aswer. Luckily enough I found another hotel down the street for the night. I then went back the next... More

Easy to get to main sights of Rome. Supermarket - just on the other side of square. But I don't understand why they call it Bed & Breakfast because... More

This place has a paper-thin walls, you hear every word from the adjacent rooms and corridor, and traffic noise is huge even when windows fully closed. Impossible to sleep! Very cold rooms! They never change towels. Also owner's not accepting credit cards and insists to pay for all the nights on arrival. I never experienced such a treatment. Host speaks... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
