We booked for 3 nights at ines b &b and received confirmation of booking with address, went to the address and waited for an hour no one there ended up asking a neighbor and they said it happens all the time you have to go to a restaurant to check in. When we arrived at the restaurant the owner barely... More

Me and my partner stayed here for a romantic weekend. Room was extremely basic and I think we were lucky to get an on suite (cold showers) as most rooms seemed to share a communal. Location is great, 5 minutes to colosseum! Meal and additional bottle of fizz complimentary of the landlord (at his restaurant next door) this made up... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with friends. Very close to train station and bus stops, very cozy hostel, you share kitchen area stocked with toast, juice, cereal, and milk every morning, we had a private bathroom. Owner also owns a restaurant that is around the corner. We got a little lost the first day, location on Google maps is wrong.... More

My friend and I stayed at this bnb for 3 nights and from the minute we entered our rooms, we loved it! It's so comfortable and the location is great. The rooms are pretty big and spacious..and even though we had booked a shared bathroom we got a private one. The bathroom was really clean and had a hair dryer... More

Easily one of the most comfortable stays in my entire trip through Europe. Alex is unbelievably the accommodating: he even takes you to dinner in his restaurant for free one night!! No Internet in the rooms but you can use the Internet of the restaurant whenever you want. A great time altogether.

Alex (the owner) is the greatest host we have ever had. All his appartments are very close to Termini station. He really cares about your comfortiness. He gave us a free dinner and a bottle of wine to welcome us first night and also during our stay he was very generous. We booked shared bathroom but in fact we got... More

The location is very right next to the Roma Termini, very convenient. The room is quite spacious for 3 people! And it was very nicely decorated. The apartment has everything you need! A nice kitchen, fridge always has fresh mineral water, juices and milk inside. Alex and his daughter are very kind and friendly during the stay!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
