I went to Rome with some friends on February and we needed a nice hotel on a budget. This was recomended to me by my mother, who had stayed in here a few years ago. The price is very nice and the location of the hotel is very good, and is in walking distance from almost all of the major... More

We always stay here because it's a good location re: the Termini train station. The hotel is always nice and clean. The breakfast is delicious; the bar woman is exceedingly pleasant (she remembered us from our previous visit!). And the hotel provides free wi-fi. We are planning to check out their recommended restaurant next time we go.

Stayed here for 4 nights in August and was pleasantly surprised. Great location, approximately a 10 minute walk to the train station, many restaurants nearby, walking distance to some of Rome's sights and local bus stop nearby. Complimentary breakfast was repetitive but delicious (and free!). It included coffee (which was fairly good), juices, fruit, boiled eggs, pastries, and cereal. The... More

Location is good. Close to train termini which has an express Leonardo train to FCO airport in 32 min. The room is small but clean. The downside is not so good breakfast with limited choices. You even see flying little bugs surrounding the deserts. The TV is so small like 13-15 inches or so.

We use this hotel as our first & last nights when we travel in & out of Rome. We love it. Great location for walking to central monuments, good restaurants up the street, quiet at night. Wifi works well too. I highly recommend them.

A friend of mine and myself stayed here for 4 nights in October. First of all I am surprised that this hotel has such a high rating. Our stay was not so pleasant as we expected. My room (100) had this smell that reminded me of molds. The bed was very hard and the isolation was bad. I woke early... More

Stayed here for two nights. Liked the location, quite near to Termini Station. Rooms are nice and decent sized. Bathroom too was pretty big. Breakfast was good. There are small restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so that helped. In all a good place to stay.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
