My second visit, 4 years after my first visit. Nothing has changed, this Boutique Hotel near the train station is amazing. Simply amazing. Two air conditioners in the room, free bottled water, great TV, great beds, great breakfast, etc etc... I cant say enough how you should consider this hotel when staying in Italy. Make sure you give the cab... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

Me and my friend stayed at 'Sweet Dream' B&B during June 2013 and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The B&B is in an excellent location, right near Termini station. Which makes the whole city easily accessible via overground train and the metro. Or if you prefer to walk, the Coliseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon are all close by.... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
