As the airconditioning simply doesn't work, don't go as you won't be able to sleep. Open the window, the noise from the street is LOUD. Complain about it the next morning and get no solution. Check out one day early and they are still trying to charge my credit card for the night we didn' stay. Summarised: to be avoided.... More

Dear guest, our air conditioning perfectly works and if you complained about it I cannot understand how you could say we did not find any solution. You stayed one night, then complained the next morning, when you left. How could we find a solution, even if what you are stating is true...? I cannot understand it. As I cannot understand... More

My parter and I stayed for one night in Ancient Romance after missing our evening flight home. The value for money was brilliant, only a short walk from the Vatican (approx 5mins) the service was great, rooms were clean and tidy, breakfast was included. There's not much more you need for the price. Would defiantly recommend.for a shorts stay.

Close to St. Peter Basilica, 5 minutes of walk distance from metro station Ottaviano, Antient Romance seems to be the perfect place for spending few days in Rome. And now facts: 1/ Very friendly staff - they react on all your needs, they are very helpful. 2/ The room "Dolce Vita" - very clean, equipped with small refrigerator and TV.... More

Great location Vatican City just meters away :) However it's not a typical b&b it's more like student dorms all over the place Breakfast was rubbish sandwich and packet stuff old croissants it was brought in your room you we had to go downstairs to the floor below us where the reception is and ask for it The room we... We liked this place very much. It was so close to the Vatican, the metro, restaurants, laundry mat, etc. The room was comfortable (winter). They fed us lots for breakfast and had coffee/tea always available. There is a room refrigerator. There was a computer free to use, as well as wifi. The staff was good at giving us directions and... We stayed here in the mid-2000's so it seemed a good choice to stay again. Location is excellent; staff is friendly; rooms and bath are clean; breakfast (served in room) is much better than average for B&B of this type. However, while we knew to expect to use three keys and a small elevator to reach our room, we did... More

First of all, I am very happy to read that this guests decided to come once again at our place. That means they enjoyed our property. That said, regarding the "fire trap", I just think they were a little too anxious... All B&Bs are normal apartments, so you need to open the room door, then the main apartment one to... More

Room was amazing - clean, spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The location was literally a stone's throw away from Vatican city and St Peter's Cathedral. The place ticked all the boxes for us. The only thing that stopped this being a 5/5 for us was the lack of a reception/someone to speak to in case of emergencies for example or... More

Me and my friend stayed at the Ancient Rome B&B back in June for 4 nights. The whole experience was amazing, the family who run this B&B couldn't do enough for you and I'd encourage anyone to stay there. The location was perfect, literally a 10minute walk to the Colosseum and into the bustling centre. Charming hotel, lovely cozy rooms!... More

I was pleasantly surprised with this charming bed and breakfast. I recently stayed 3 nights in a newly renovated room with private bath, closet, A/C, tv, and WiFi. The staff was so friendly and brought coffee, paninis, pastries, etc. to our room for breakfast. The location was great, in a safe but lively neighbourhood only a stone throw away from... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
