I had stayed here in June and given the price of hostels in Rome, found this one to be a pretty good value. One thing to note is that this hostel is actually an apartment that's been converted so it is really small. Not the greatest if you're looking to meet people. The Good: By far the best thing about... My friends and I stayed here for a few nights back in May of this year. After travelling around Europe for 3 weeks awe all agree that this was the best hostel we stayed in. The rooms were spacious, and the staff was absolutely amazing! Francesco was so friendly, and we met a lot of amazing people there. The hostel... More

Out of all the hostels I stayed in Europe, Twin Cities Hostel was by far, the best, the service is incredible, the hosts Katharina and Francesco treated me like family, they helped me out with everything, from how to get to the main attractions to food advice. The room was really clean and nice and with it's own private bathroom,... More

So friendly, we met fun people bunking with us and it is a good place to be for a quiet nights rest after a long day of sightseeing. We stayed here while backpacking in 2011 and would go back here in a heartbeat. I felt very safe as well here and there was a place to lock up our personal... More

The staff were very nice and welcoming, the hostel itself was relaxed and open. The showers had hot water, there was a kitchen, reception after 10 a.m, credit card accepted (Taxes: cash-only) Expected a lot better having read previous reviews on this site...

This is a great place to stay! It' s quite small, so you can make friends very easily. The kitchen, rooms and bathrooms are cleaned every day. You have the possibilty to use lockers and they have a washing service. Down the road there' s everything you need, two supermarkets, many places to have lunch or dinner and within easy... More

Not very close to the city center but good connection with the metro. The neighbourhood seems to be safe and there are many small cafes and restaurants near. The hostel was ok,the room was clean, also the common area. One thing that should be mentioned is that they have lockers but not a lock. That you have to buy yourself from some... More

Do not stay here. The other peoples reviews have to be lies! This place is disgusting! The kitchen and common area are filthy. The stench is something I have never experienced before. I couldn't spend more than 1 minute in there. It smelt like leaking gas and off cheese. The rooms are tiny and musty. The dust and dirt on... More

well you can book a hostel WITHOUT kitchen and get to pay for your restaurant meals, or book a hostel with kitchen and then make sure to clean it right after your use! If you don't clean AFTER YOURSELF you can't complain the kitchen smells bad, you may not know in fact if it smells bad because of yourself. The... More

Booked for 5 nights, stayed for 4. Smell and cleanliness got too much. Needs to be cleaned and aired out. 6 people per room share one toilet and shower. Bathroom gets cleaned once a day but still smells. Whole place has a musty odour. Water just trickles out the shower with no pressure at all. Shades in the room let... More

This place is very welcoming the owners are down to earth and easy going especially the one that says he's 21 but looks 12 with a beard the only thing I can fault is I'm 52 and there was nobody over 31. So I had a generation gap problem. It's out of center, so it's a underground ride to get... More
