Suite Sistina is a small boutique hotel, with rooms in two buildings just across from eachother on the Via Sistina. We stayed in a very cool room called Lullaby, which although a little small and without any view, was decorated to an extremely high, modern standard - including huge jacuzzi-style bath and an iPad with surround sound music. Staff were... More

My husband and I visited here for our honeymoon all the way from Australia and all I can say is...we absolutely loved this hotel! We stayed in the room called sexy machine and it was beautiful. The staff are so lovely and the manage is fantastic! She's so friendly and helps you in every way possible. I'm so impressed by... More

Made the mistake of staying here for our first few nights during my first 3-week trip to Italy. Everywhere we stayed after Rome sadly did not quite live up to the same experience that Suite Sistina had to offer! Even prior to our arrival any communications between myself and the hotel exceeded expectations. We stayed in the Tutta Tonda room... More

What a find ! These suites are located close to the Spanish steps and between 2 metro stations with easy access to all of the sights and the airport. The staff are very helpful and breakfast in bed a real indulgence with a really good choice available. The rooms are indulgent with mood lighting and a lovely jacuzzi bath !... More

I have travelled extensively in Europe and this was the most bizarre and uncomfortable hotel stay that I have ever experienced. When I decided to visit my daughter in Rome, my travel agent and I chose the Suite Sistina for its good reviews and locations. However, what we didn’t know (and should have been specified clearly when any reservations are... More

We recently stayed at Suite Sistina. This hotel is centrally located near the Spanish Steps. The rooms were modern and the staff was great. We loved the room and they even gave us an upgrade. Upon check in, you will notice additional "items" to purchase for a fun and romantic evening with your significant other. The breakfast is served in... More

We stayed at Suite Sistina in the first week in September and it was really nice. It is located about 2 minutes walk away from the Spanish Steps, so this is a really great location for exploring Rome. We took a shuttle bus to and from the airport, but otherwise were able to walk everywhere (Vatican/Colosseum were about 30/40 minutes... More

This is absolutely one of the places to be in Rome. It is a small hotel, not far from the Spanish stairs. The reception is on one the floors, so you enter a hall and immediately climb the stairs. There is a small place to have breakfast, but you can order breakfast and the staff brings it up to your... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
